"Fyae's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 269 Today's Word Is: Business"

Definition of the word Business: Means commerce, the buying and selling of goods and services;also one's occupation: or any activity  or matter of concern: subjected to rough treatment, hazing, teasing etc, or to mean business, to be sincere or resolute about something important.,

Luke chapter 2 - 49 : And he said unto them, how is it that ye sought me; wist ye not that, I must be about my fathers business.

Romans chapter 12 - 11: Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.

1 Thessalonians chapter 4 - 11 : And that ye studying to be quiet and do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as commanded you.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Business: Which means commerce of buying and selling goods and services, it also means to b e sincere or resolute about something very important. Do you remember the story in the bible about Joseph and Mary , when they lost contact with Jesus, he was a young boy; and they question him about leaving them and he said, he must be about his fathers business. I don't think Joseph or Mary, knew exactly what to say to him about his statement.

Well, I think we should adopt Jesus attitude, even though he was a young boy, but, even he knew that he had to be about his fathers business and that should be our attitude also, we must only be about our father's business; which means ,we should study, pray, teach and preach the word of God to those that need Gods bread of life, in their lives.

Busy is as busy does I guess and all that - being too busy can be an excuse for all things. I always think busy should be replaced by 'responsibility' and think if we can still skate out of it!

I agree with all you say. I think it is something that easily get put aside because we are too "busy."
