"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 291 Today's Word Is: Idle"

Definition of the word Idle: means not busy, or not in use, or to avoid, or to waste time, or idleness, or idle hands.

Proverbs chapter 19 -15 : Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.

Proverbs chapter 31 - 27 : She looketh well to the ways of her household and eatheth not the bread of idleness.

Matthews chapter 12 - 36 : But I say unto you thatt every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement.

Matthews chapter 20 - 3 : And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market place.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Idle: Which means not busy,or in use or tending to avoid work, or wasting time. I was taught that an idle mind is the devil's workshop, that's why we should keep our minds staying on Jesus, because, he's our all in all.

If we keep our minds on Jesus and Our hands busy doing positive things for God, then we want have to worry about working in the devils workshop, or our hands busy doing evil; so if we are about Gods business, we want be swayed by the idleness of Satan.

This is so true idle hands and minds can come to no good. Think of it . . . to sit idle you allow the enemy to attack. Excellent hub and inspiration my friend, peace to you and yours.

Hello my friend! This was beautiful and I often tell myself an idle mind leaves you open for mischief, that's why it's good to occupy your time and your mind on something positive, and something good. I appreciate your words of encouragement. Blessings to you for sharing God's word. :)

I should have 48 hours a day, too. All too often because I idle away the time that God gave to be productive. Still I try.

I don't even like for my car to "idle". I have to be doing something all the time - even if it's to refrain from doing something!
