"Faye's Daily words Of Encouragement # 390 Today's Word Is : Neglect"

Definition of the word Neglect: Which means to disregard or be indifferent to, or to be careless or irresponsible of something or someone, or leave unattended.

1 Timothy chapter 4 - 14 : neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Today's daily word of encouragement word is Neglect which means to disregard or be indifferent to, or to be careless or irresponsible of something or someone, or to leave unattended. The bible tells us " How shall we escape , if we neglect so great salvation: which at first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him" which means , if we neglect our salvation, how on earth can we escape damnation; this statement was spoken first by the Lord and it was backed up and confirmed by them that heard him, which means that they listen to his words.

Thank you fred, you're correct; there is nothing or no one more deserving of our attention than God our father. We should always put him first in our lives. Godspeed. creativeone59

Powerful word. Is there ANYTHING more deserving of our time and attention? Is there another that deserves our compliance more than the One who gave us life? The One who promises us eternal paradise and payed for our entrance with His own blood? If we neglect Him why would we think that would be acceptable?

      Great message!

It is so easy sometimes to put aside reading the word and prayer in this busy world. Great reminder to not neglect the most important things in our lives that is our spiritual condition.
