"Faye Daily Words Of Encouragement # 163 Today's Word Is: Punishment "

Definition of the word Punishment: To be penalized for an offence, to incarcerate. To be penalized for sin.

Gen esis chapter 4 -13 : And Cain said unto the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear.

Leviticus chapter 26 -41 : And that I also have walked contrary unto them; and have brought them ;into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity., a man for the punishme chapter nt of his sins.

Lamentation chapter 3 -39 : Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sin.

Lamentation chapter 4 - 6 : Foe the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was one overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her .

Ezekiel chapter 14 - 10 : And they shall bear punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet, shall be even as punishment of him that seeketh unto him.

Matthews chapter 25 - 46 :And these shall go away into ever lasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Hebrews chapter 10 - 29 : Of how much shall be sorer punishment, suppose ye shall he be thought worthy, who hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the spirit of grace.

1 Peter chapter 2 -14 : Or unto governors as unto them that are sent by him, for the puishment of evildoers, and for the priase of do well.

Proverbs chapter 19 - 19 : A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for id thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Punishment. There's punishment for all our deeds of iniquity, so we need to live our lives as close as possible to sin free. If we live a righteous and godly life, we can expect good rewards from God, but if we're busy doing all manner of unholy things, then will also reap the benefit of those things and our acts of iniquity. We punish our children in one way or another for their wrong doings; that is if we 're a good parent. To let our children get away with blatant acts of disobedience is inexcusable on our part. God our father punish us for our wrong doings and our children are no better than us.

If we start when the children are very young , teaching them right from wrong, they will be rewarded in the end and we'll be proud parent of the outcome. I will choose rewards over punishment any day, but we don't get the rewards, if we don't live our lives according to the word of God. Punishment is something that anyone look forward too, so if we love each other and treat everyone according , our reward will be great in our heavenly home.

Thank you for this hub. It is our duty as parents to raise our children in the way they should go. Any parent that does not mead out punishment in one way or the other only have themselves to blame when their child goes astray.

We are the true examples to our offspring, and as you said if we must try to live up to Gods expectation as closely as we humanly can. Get hub, have a wonderful evening.

Thank you Creativeone, I agree our children should be taught right from wrong at a very early age, so that less people on earth would commit crimes and suffer punishment.

Man's punishment is not always fair, but the Lord's punishment will not waiver or be unjust. Thank you, Faye.

And the greatest is love.If you have love in your heart for all mankind, then sin will not come into your life so easily.Oh we are human and will never be totally sin-free, but we try.

      God bless you.

The way God exacts punishment is a vital lesson for us. He only exacts it in a just way and to those who need it.

I agree with you Creativeone, "if we love each other and treat everyone according , our reward will be great in our heavenly home." If we are following Christ, there is no punishment. Love and hugs my dear sister in Christ.
