Definition of the words Burnt Offering: Which means any male anikmal from the herd without spot or blemish offered up as sacrifices; if of his own voluntary will at the door pof the tablenacle of the congregation before the Lord.
1 Samuel chapter 15 - 22 : And Samuel said, hath the Lord as great delioght in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? behold to obey is better than sacrifices and to hearken, than the fat of rams.
Psalms 40 - 6 : Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened, burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

These offerings should be offered if of his own voluntary will, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation; before the Lord . The bible tells us"And to love him with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy strength and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices" Which means we're suppose to love Jesus with all our hearty and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. These things are worth more than whole burnt offerings or sacrifices; when Jesus died on the cross,he cancelled out the need for burnt offerings or sacrifices because he became our sacrificial lamb.
