 Definition of the word Repay:To pay back a debt owed. A payment returned.

Deuteronomy chapter 7 -10 : And repay them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Proverbs chapter 13 - 21 : Evil persueth sinners; but righteous good shall be repaid.

Luke chapter 10 - 35 : And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host and said unto to him, take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again I Will repay.

Romans chapter 12 -19:  yourselves Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves; but rather give  place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mines,  I will repay, saith the Lord.

We all owe a debt of thanks unto God and Jesus Christ our  Saviour for dying on the cross for our sins. We can repay our debt by living a godly life and helping our brothers and sisters in Christ.  We're repaying  our debt every time we bring a soul to Jesus. We also repay the debt by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to others. We repay the debt by teaching others to have a personal relationship with the son of God.    We all know, that once we incur a debt; we're responsible for that particular debt, and we want to keep up our good standing record  in the credit department; So we pay our bills.

Repaying an accumulated debt to Jesus is the same . we all wan to be accredited with being a righteous, obedient and faithful child of God, that live by the standards of God.  In doing the things that's right; and treating our brothers and sisters the way we wish to be treated and living a godly life, we're repaying the the debt back to Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
