"Faye's daily words of encouragement"# 8 Todays word is: Charity

1 Peter chapter 4 - verse 8 : Andabove all things have fer vent charity among ourseves: for charity covers a multitude of sins.

2 Peter chapter 1 - 7 :   And Godliness,brotherly  kindness; to brotherly kindness charity

Colossians chapter 3 - vesre14 : And above all  these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Charity means: alms giving an instution for providing for the poor.

As children growing up, our mother taught us, that charity begins at home and spreads abroad.then you're a child, you don't know what it means, but once I became an adult  and start living it; I came into the knowledge of what the meaning of the  word charity really meant.  I have learned that charity and giving goes hand in hand and that we're suppose to help those that are less fortunate than us.

Charity is giving of ourselves and services to those in dire need of help.  Charity is what ever God put on your heart to give.  I remember even though we didn't have a lot of material things, my mother would always cook enough food in case someone came by hungry; so we could  feed them.  I follow that same pattern in my life, I always cook enough to always feed someone else.  With God in mind, it's always the sincere thought that counts.
