Faye's daily words of encouragement" # 9 Todays word is: Peace

Definitions: peace is freedom from all hostilities; peace is serenity.

Isiah: chapter 59 - verse 8 : The way fo peace they know not; and there is no judegement in their goings; they have made them crooked paths.

Mark: chapter chapter 9 - verse 50: Salt is good but if the salt have lost his saltiness, wherewith will season it? have salt in yourselves and have peace one with another.

1 Peter: chapter 3 - verse 11: Let him eschew evil, and do good; Let him seek peace and ensue it.

Since peace is freedom from hostility, we all need to seek peace in our lives and replace the hostility with serenity. I read a book that talks about worldy peace troubadors that get together all over the world and pray for worldy peace. I never really heard about the peace trubadors before, but it makes perfect sense to have someone out there in the world praying for wordly peace. Our society is in an uproar over everything, we have so many battles and wars to fight, that we should have more peace trubadors. Our lives are bombarded by all kinds of wars, we fight national wars, governmental wars, social wars and we have our own personal wars that leaves no room for peace.

I think we all should become peace trubadors and pray for Gods blessing of peace for our nation, our government, our society, and pray for peace within ourselves across the nation. We all can live our lives without chaos and the hostilities of this world. I ask you today, to practice peace in our daily lives and seek it out every day.
