Fear can do many things to you

Updated on September 14, 2012

Fear can do many things to you, fear is brought onto you by the devil, and he wants to keep you down, did you know that when a person turns to God the devil gets angry as he knows that he has lost another one, and he will do everything that can bring you down.

This is where the strength and power from God come into being your helper, as nothing is stronger than the power of God, the devil knows this but he still tries to get at you some how, and fear is one way.

Well we need to get this fear out of your mind, don't you think?

When you are at work many things come, and fear of not doing your work to a satisfication for your boss can come on you, that can effect you, this can bring you down, you start to worry, you find it hard to sleep at night, your eating at meal times has been interrupted, you get angry at little things, everything seems to be on top of you weighing you down fear sets in.

Fear can do many things to you,

You may have fear that you won't wake up in the morning,

Fear you may not get to work on time,

Fear that you may say something bad to someone,

Fear that some one may run into your car when you are in it,

Faer that you don't measure up to others,

Fear that you may hurt yourself at work or another place,

Fear of loosing your job,

Fear your best friend may depart,

There are many more I'm sure that people can find to be fearful about,

Fear can cause depression.

In Psalm 23:4, Even though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 56:3,4. When I am afraid I will trust in you.4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust, I will not be afraid, what can mortal man do to me?

Luke 2:10, But the angel said to them, "Don't be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people."

Psalm 27:1. The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?

So you see there's nothing to be afraid of when you are close to our Lord, but yes I will pray for you as well here.

"Lord, you know all, you see all, we are not that far from you, but sometimes we seem to be in the distance, as many things come at us, and when this happens we forget all of your promises you have given to us, and all we need to do is to take hold of them. Lord at this time I'm asking that all fear be taken away from........., fear in the name of Jesus we reject you, we rebuke you, we command that you leave, right now fear we say to you that you will die from the roots up, we place a curse on you and you will die just as Jesus placed the curse on the fig tree, fear the Word of God has been spoken and you must obey, fear you must leave now and take everything with you, as you are not of God you are an intruder you are not wanted you must leave, thank you Jesus for hearing this prayer, and we know your Word is the Truth and all knees must bow to you, thank you Jesus, we ask this in your name, Amen."

Now there is one thing for you to do, that is to have Faith,Jesus said we are to have Faith,Believe,Trust and our hearts desire will be given when we don't doubt.

James 1:6. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, 7. That man should not think he will receive anything from when we doubt we are in two minds, so how can we expect God to give us anything when we ask Him, we are not stable.

This prayer.......when you read it, read it out loud as this is the only time the devil can hear you as he can not and does not know your thoughts, so its no good just thinking this prayer you must speak it out.

You know.......... I feel so blessed that I don't have these problems like some others go thru, I don't suffer from fear, I don't suffer from illness, yes the devil tries to get at me but I come against him right at the start of anything, I cover myself by the power of God, and I know that I am protected from all what the devil tries to place on me.

I never say I hope it comes as this is a form of doubt, as I would not be sure if it came or not, so you see I never have the feeling about it not been given to me, I have asked and I know I will receive, believe me, oh yes I know because I do not doubt.

No I'm not perfect, no one is, only Jesus was perfect in everyway.

well my friend meteetse you have a good question here. I would say no Jesus did not have fear as we know what fear is. BUT HE did have concern, when He was praying to the Father about going to the cross, He did ask was there anyway to not go there, but also He knew that He was sent to take the sins of people upon himself and the cross was the way to go,if you read in Luke chap.22, v39-43. in v 41 He withdrew about a stones throw away and He knelt down to pray, "Father if you are willing, take this cup from me, yet not my will, but yours be done," An angel from heaven came to him and being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
