From Adam to Jesus
! Corinthians 8:3-6
From Adam to Jesus as at 1 Corinthians 15:45
Yahweh/ Jehovah, brought forth a spirit son, the Word, through the Word, JEHOVAH created the universe, and other spirit sons.
After making conditions necessary for life on earth, plants and animals were created. Eventually, man was made from "dust" and God breathe into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul [Genesis 2:7]. Hebrews 1:1, 2, Re 3:14. 1 Corinthians 8:3-6.
The man, Adam, was given a test of obedience by JEHOVAH, with a penalty of death [... on the day you eat of the fruit of that tree you will positively die].
Eventually, Eve was made and brought to Adam, with the command that they populate the earth and subdue it. One of JEHOVAH's spirit sons relented to his wayward thinking and tricked Eve in believing she was speaking to a snake/ serpent, convincing her to eat the forbidden fruit. Adam, was now confronted with a human temptation subsequent to the intervention from a rebel spirit.
It should be noted that without the intervention from this rebel spirit who made himself Satan/ Resister/ Adversary, Adam could have easily passed the test of obedience, because JEHOVAH lovingly provided for ALL his needs.
Adam was not deceived by Satan, but Eve, who was a bit naive being a 'new' addition was. Adam, however joined the rebellion by his eating the fruit given to him by his wife. The issue raised by Satan, is that Adam and Eve, by choosing independence from JEHOVAH, would lead better lives. Over 6000 years of recorded history has shown Satan to be terribly wrong.
Satan, subsequently charged as shown at Job 2: 4, 5, that man would not serve JEHOVAH faithfully when under trials and threat of death. JEHOVAH's Response. JEHOVAH, as shown at Genesis 3:15, had a response, He has allowed the earth to be populated with mankind, whereby, the consequences of man living independent of Him, is clearly seen, by man and all spirit sons.
In the meantime, God has used His prophets and angels to progressively reveal His plans of reconciliation of all things to Him, using the Word, his first spirit Son. By sending the Word, as a perfect man, all charges raised by Satan, would be settled once and for all. By dying a sacrificial death the Word as a perfect man, paid the penalty of sin, a perfect life [ 1 Corinthians 15:45; Romans 6:23]. By being obedient as far as to death [Philippians 2: 8,9],
Jesus proved Satan a liar. John 8:44. We live, by following God's Son, Jesus. [Acts 3:22, 23; 1 Corinthians 11:3, John 3:16, John 17:3], AND, praying to JEHOVAH through His Son. John 4:23, 24; John 6:44, 45; Hebrews 8:1, 2.
