GRACE MERCY FORGIVENESS

Grace, Mercy and forgiveness
In a world filled with much selfishness, hatred and much more pain, we--at one time or another get hurt.
Sometimes we get hurt by people we know and sometimes by people we don't know. Getting hurt, unfortunately is a part of life in this world. How we deal with this is what shows the world our character, the type of person we are.
We must always remember that the eyes of the world are upon us always...as are the eyes of our Lord. He does see all.
Many years ago, a couple thousand years ago Jesus came and showed us Grace, Mercy and forgiveness. He died so that we can live. We say we want to live as He did, we pray, we go to church and we try to model our lives after His, after-all He is perfect.
Yet we struggle to show Mercy, Grace and Forgiveness to those who hurt us. Knowing very well that those who hurt us did not hurt us as severely as we hurt Jesus, yet He died a brutal death upon a cross so we can live.
What kind of person are we if we do not show others grace, mercy and forgiveness? Well it is simple, we are hypocrites, like the pharisees. We are saying that we are better than others and above them.
How dare we behave in such a manner. I can say with much certainty that we all have hurt someone. Would we not want others to show us grace, mercy and forgiveness, like Jesus has shown and given us?
If we do not do this, then why should Jesus forgive us, and show us Grace and Mercy?
We all have sinned, and when we come to Christ, repent of the sins, and turn from the evil ways, then Jesus shows us grace and mercy and He forgives us.
It is not complicated, and with Jesus we can do all things and we must show, mercy, grace and forgiveness to all who have done things against us. It is far better to forgive and be set free than to hold un-forgiveness and live in bondage.
Following are just a few scriptures you ought to read. Of-course there are so many scriptures about forgiveness, grace and mercy. Look them up and post some of your favorites in the comment section bellow this hub/blog.
