Writing is my passion. I have an undying thirst and quest in the field of writing. Some eat, drink, or use drugs when stressed; I write.

The coronavirus pandemic is a terrifying disease plaguing thousands of millions of people nationwide. Many are sick, and various have died, putting Americans in an absolute panic. I will never say there is no need to show concern about the severe crisis. Nor would I advise people to disregard the advice of the health experts. But to fear and panic do not fall within God. When you are afraid, you don’t have control, and you don’t know God. Because if you did, you would understand God is bigger than the coronavirus plaguing America, and it’s time to pray.

And all who concern about the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and not sure what to do. Let me offer some advice. You need to turn your panic into prayer. The nation needs help, and unless the situation changes real soon, many more will become ill and die nationwide. And the President, Mayor, or Congress can’t save us. No man or leader will bring us out of this pandemic stage. Our country is so desperately in needing of God more than ever today.

The President and the Lawmakers in Washington will put together a force to do all they can to deal with COVID-19 outbreaks. But the outcome is outside of their control. They can’t fix this; God is in need. He has the final say. I pray that all those who fear being affected by the virus will awaken. Repent and turn from their wicked ways to understand their only hope is God’s protection during these troubled times.

Depending on the research, there are over 121,000 (COVID-19) cases in 114 countries nationwide, and approximately 4,373 people have perished. And as the alarming spread of the coronavirus rises, panic, by confusing and frightening, I watch people empty the store shelves of needed items such as bottled water, hand sanitizer, toilet tissue, sanitizer wipes, paper towels, face mask, and Lysol spray.

I’m not sure why so many cleared the store shelves, but I know this is a wake-up call from God. Do not enable this crisis to pull you away from God and the help he always wants to give. You know things are indispensable when the President called for a National Day of Prayer. That alone lets me know; it’s time to pray.

“COVID-19 is not just a medical challenge, but a spiritual challenge too. To defeat this humanity need to follow the path of self-purification and the path nonviolence, God and the Nature.”

― Amit Ray

As the coronavirus plague the nation, it has canceled many things, leaving so many in pain. And people are asking, “Why” has God allowed such a terrible thing like the coronavirus (COVID-19) to pledge the nation. Some might even question. “Why didn’t God create a world where tragedy and suffering Don’t Exist?” You can read the answer to everything about God in the Bible.

If you are questioning what the Bible says about God permitting evil? You should consult the Bible, but let me share, God did not cause the world in the state in which it is today.

He builds the world in his image, full of love. He created a man to praise Him, but sin came because of the selfishness of man. Although evil is present, Don’t let it infect you. God is in control, and there is no way evil can overcome Him. The only way possible to slay evil is to pray. It releases the power of God to work.

And as I sit in front of my TV watching live-streamed from Governor Abbott. He speaks of the death of several people in the state of Texas, and to hear him declare the State of Disaster. The nation needs to pray because the worst of this virus has yet to come. However, let me point out this: God is bigger than the coronavirus. He is more powerful than any crisis that the nation might face right now.

So many of us are preoccupied with the things of this world. We are in a slave to sin and forgot about God. We do not take the time to pray. His Word is still going forth, but most of us are not listening, and we don’t unite ourselves with God in prayer. Young underage girls are becoming mothers early and not available to defend their children. The husband and wife do not steal time for each other, which leads to divorce, and our life is so out of balance until God is angry with us.

The people who violate God’s law and accept sin in their lives have not taken the time to get to know God, nor have they perceived we do not have to suffer alone. God will accompany us in our time of need in the most intimate of ways. God’s love is great for his children and because he cares. We can go to Him in prayer. And trust that he is available to hear us, and he will deliver us.

Because the church has not prepared the peoples to trust God, so many fears the COVID-19 virus. Society is watching live updates or reading the information the Internet feeds them on the coronavirus. They do not remember. The Bible says, where two or three gathered together in my name. I am there among them; God is here. There is a spiritual factor for every problem. And for the coronavirus, the solution is this time to pray.

There’s power in prayer when you feel a sense of isolation that compounds the fear. You must turn to God and request Him in your time of need. The Bible teaches of how many men and women of God prayed and how their faith got a result, and we can pray and have faith as well. No matter how harsh the coronavirus gets, God is pleased to answer prayer today. We need to turn our panic into prayers. Allow me to remind everybody that “With God, All is possible.”

The nation has never seen a pandemic do so much damage and kill more people in absolute numbers. But let me point out. “God is bigger than the coronavirus that is plaguing America, and it’s time to pray.”

“A prayer of faith shall change any circumstance.”

God is open to hearing his children's prayers. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) tells us, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

What can one do during the ritual of the coronavirus, especially since prayer is needed for all Americans? As one nation, you come back to God; you unite yourself with Him in prayer, ask Him to protect and heal the many that are affected by the coronavirus pandemic. But, with so many losing their lives, sometimes it’s hard to affirm where to begin. My suggestion is to know how to pray. Amidst losing a loved one’s people has a deep ache in their hearts, so it is time to cry out to God for mercy and pray he heals the land.

In conclusion, no manifestations of evil nor the COVID-19 disease can affect or destroy the purpose that God has for his children. When you believe in a God that you know is able and makes Him your refuge. Nothing will affect the will he plan for your life. The coronavirus is a contagious disease, but there are ways to protect yourself to prevent spreading the disease to others; defend yourself by:

  • Make sure you wash your hands on a regular, for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a mask.

  • When you cough or sneeze flex into the elbow, and not your hand.

  • Avoid close contact, be at least 1 meter or 3 feet from the person who is ill.

  • If you feel unwell, stay home and self-isolate from others.

God promised that if His children obey Him, He would answer them in their time of need. And He is not a man that he should lie. These wise words share that, “God is bigger than the coronavirus that is plaguing America, and it’s time to pray.”

Do you agree, God is bigger than the coronavirus that is plaguing America, and it’s time to pray?
