God in my life

Occasionally I write poems and this is my most recent poem, I call it "My Savior."

Time and time again you show me your mercy, your love, your peace.

In the moments when I need you most you wrap me in your arms.

The fatherly love that is much needed you provide and

The words of wisdom that penatrate my soul is what I long for.

The words you left for all to see yet so many don't obey including me.

We are all sinners and are not worthy, but because of your grace we can finally face our troubles and struggles without fear

The boldness of your power that makes darkness into light and at the end the victory is ours because of your Name.

Jesus Jesus Jesus

All the suffering you endured was meant for our sin yet you took my place and died for all to be with you and your angels.

You that stood in my place and became sin itself defeated the devil and gave power to the people who proclaim your name.

All thats left is your glory and light that speads like fire and consumes our lives, yet we come yearning for more.

Shake this world from their sleep and stop their petty arguing that lead to nothing but let ur people embrace your truth that you placed in their hearts.

And lead more people to your divine light.

How do you want to be remembered as? A man/woman of God, a happy, God-fearing, person who truly loved, or do you want to be remembered as a person who didn't have time for God.

In the day of Judgment, we will all be held accountable for the things we did and did not do. I try my best to devote some time everyday to God; give him the chance to speak to me through his word. Join me and truly be a woman/ man of God.

No one is perfect, but its through our imperfections that we are perfect in his eyes.

Children of God, arise and shine for the Glory of God is within you; don't be intimated by your surroundings.

Stay focus and alert to the voice of God and don't be distracted by the circumstances. Grow your faith and move forward; never looking back and always serving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Don't let the oppressor get you down, speak words of truth and you will be amazed at how God will defend and protect you.

Ever since I gave you my heart, I have noticed a change in me. I have noticed that I feel better about myself, I act properly, i am an all together better person. I know that everyone has their bad days and bad moments, but you keep me going. You don't let me be down and blue and sad for very long. You inspire me like no one can or ever will; you are the reason for my being. My reason to wake up, my reason to live, you and you alone is who I will serve, who I will lean on, who I will look for and listen to. You are the only one who deserves my praise.

I hope to lead people to give you their hearts cause that was the best decision I every made. It was hard and I still struggle but I see your hand in everything that i do and everywhere I go. I know your there, and I know you are there rooting for me; you are for me and not against me.

I wish that more people would recognize you as their savior, as their king, as their refuge, as their everything!

Help me be an example and be the difference. Help me be everything you want me to be! I wanna be your hands and feet and want to show the world of your love. I want to show the world of what they have never experienced, what what they don't know of and want to show them what it means to be YOURS.

I can't stay quiet no longer; i cant hold it in no longer. Everything you have done for me, I wanna give it back by helping people lead the life that they were meant to live! A live of peace, love and joy; a life where there is no worry. A life where they will have the faith and confidence to know that you will help and guide them every step of the way!

Let me show them to not be moved by this world or things of this world (money, people, anything that is not of YOU). Open their eyes so they will see YOU. So that they will want more of you and yearn for you.

Just help me oh God make a difference! Let the world see your glory shine!
