Just Awesome

We should let our light so shine
We should let our light so shine
Let us be God's True and perfect little children
Let us be God's True and perfect little children

Biblical Text to Guide us in acquiring the right attitude.

1Co 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. :8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; :9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; :10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: :11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. :12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. :13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. :14 For the body is not one member, but many. :15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? :16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? :17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? :18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. :19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? :20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. :21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. :22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary :23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. :24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: :25 That there should be no schism(Spilt, Division, Break). in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. :26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

2Chronicles ( book of history or records) 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Jdg 7:1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and encamped beside the spring of Harod: and the camp of Midian was on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley. :2 And Jehovah said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. :3 Now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and trembling, let him return and depart from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. :4 And Jehovah said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. :5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and Jehovah said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. :6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. :7 And Jehovah said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thy hand; and let all the people go every man unto his place. :8 So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets; and he sent all the men of Israel every man unto his tent, but retained the three hundred men: and the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley. :9 And it came to pass the same night, that Jehovah said unto him, Arise, get thee down into the camp; for I have delivered it into thy hand. :10 But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Purah thy servant down to the camp: :11 and thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thy hands be strengthened to go down into the camp. Then went he down with Purah his servant unto the outermost part of the armed men that were in the camp. :12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like locusts for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand which is upon the sea-shore for multitude. :13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man telling a dream unto his fellow; and he said, Behold, I dreamed a dream; and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian, and came unto the tent, and smote it so that it fell, and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat. :14 And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: into his hand God hath delivered Midian, and all the host. :15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped; and he returned into the camp of Israel, and said, Arise; for Jehovah hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

1Ti 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Like God We Should Be

God wants us to possess His very Nature, His Glory.
God wants us to possess His very Nature, His Glory.

Because of who they are... God wants us to know these things. Godly character is like sheep

Jdg 7:6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. :7 And Jehovah said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thy hand; and let all the people go every man unto his place.

The Eternal Father choose three hundred men, not because he gave them something no, but because of who they are. They had something about them that he recognized would have been of great importance, and so he choose them to save his people.                                 God is working out a plan here below and he will use whosoever he sees fit, if even we oppose it.  It may be someone we don’t like or approve of this is God’s house, and god is still in control. God wants to take his church to a higher level so what does God do?

St. John 15: 1-3  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. :2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, hepurgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. ( the word Purgeth; original greek ) kath-ah'ee-ro : to cleanse, that is, (specifically) to prune; figuratively to expiate: - purge  :3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. :16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? :17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. :18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.                                                                                                               This fruit Jesus is talking about is Godly Character, Jesus mentions false prophets, why?

Godly character is like sheep to the slaughter. Ungodly character is liken unto ravening wolves.

Stand The Test:                                                                                                                        Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. :2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.               1Pe 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.                                                                                                                             1Pe 2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

Tit 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,                                                                                            Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. :40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke as well :41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Mat 22:1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, (2)he kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, :3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. :4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. :5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to merchandise :6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. :8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy :9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. :10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. :11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: :12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. :13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. :14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
