Gurudwara Panjokhra Sahib dedicated to 8th Guru Har Kishan Rai who became Sikh Guru at the age of five years
Guru Har Kishan Rai the 8th sikh Guru did so much miracles in the very short life span. He was born 7th July 1656.He became Sikh Guru on7th October 1661 at the age of five years and died 30eth March 1664.
His birth place was Kiratpur Sahib. His father's name was Har Rai and mother's name was Kishan kaur. He had an elder brother Ram Rai. He was a spoiled child. Shri Har Kishan Rai was obedient and responsible to his duties. God had gifted him with supernatural powers.
Guruji came to Panjokhra Sahib and Pandit Lal Chand taunted him and said that you have become Guru at the age of children. Do you know anything about knowledge.
Read the Shalok of Bhagawad Geeta and make me to understand. The water bearer man Chhaju who was deaf and dumb was passing near by. Guruji called that person and ask him to take bath into the Sarovar and placed a stick on his head and he interpreted Bhagawad Geeta.
In this way Chhaju's deafness and dumbness cured by Guruji. Lal chand impressed by Guruji and bow to his feet and begged for pardon.
He became the disciple of Guruji and joined the mission of Guruji. Lepers were also stood there. They also requested for healing leprosy. Guruji asked them to take bath into the Sarovar and with his stick placing on their head. They were healed.
In the very short life span he served the human kind heartedly. By serving the diseased people he also fell into the grip of disease and died before the age of eight years.
In this very short life span he did so many miracles.
