Have you had your burning bush yet
It will happen.
There are three important lessons from Moses and the burning bush.
Lesson number one: when God informed Moses to deliver the people from slavery he replied that he was very inadequate (he was a stutterer). Lesson number one is when God gives us a job to do; we admit we are not capable of doing it. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of EgyptExodus 3: 10-11
Think of it, God was asking Moses, a stutter to go before the most powerful man in the region.
I have. When God informed me He wanted me to become a writer I fought back saying it couldn’t be dome. I know nothing of writing or how to use any of the tools available on the internet. I didn’t even know any tools on the internet. It took Him many months to FINALLY convince me. So off I went in great frustration trying to be a writer. Many times I tried to master a certain skill only to fail miserably. In exhausted frustration I would call out to God: :”See I can’t do this!!” Then a moment of calm came over me and it was The Holy Spirit saying “Why don’t you try it this way?” You know what? Bang the skill was mastered instantly.
That brings us to point number two
And God said, “I will be with you.” Exodus 3:12
That is point number two. God realizes you can’t do it, but lets you know He WILL be with you as you go forward in His chosen path for you.
Point number three: When God has proven to you that this is what he wants you to do and that He will be with you and you STILL refuse, THEN He will get angry with you. Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses Exodus 4: 14.
When you still refuse to obey God then you are saying to God:” God I can’t do this and I don’t believe You can either.”
Is there any burning bush in your life lately? Something God wants you to do that you don’t believe you have the skills or power to accomplish. Something you doubt God will accomplish through you.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Immanuel (God amongst us) keep my mind and heart open to any task You have designated for me to do. Please give me the faith to believe You are going to be walking with me through it all the way. I ask this in the name of Him who completed Your greatest task for Him on earth Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
