He Loves Us
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.
The best example of the word love in the history of mankind I think would be God sending his son. He loves us so much more than our mind cannot fully comprehend it. If you ever felt that your were unloved just try to remember that he loves us unconditionally. He loves us always even if we don't love him. He doesn't only love us when we behave a certain way or act religious. He loves us when we doubt, he loves us when we are disobediant. He always, always loves us. The word love used in this passage is from the greek word agape.
agape love
noun
selfless love of one person for another without sexual implications (especially love that is spiritual in nature) [syn: agape]
