He that is without sin, cas the first stone - John chapter 8 - verse 7
When Jesus made this statement to the women's accusers, he knew what he was doing. He already knew, that not even one stone would hit the ground. Her accusers had their own sins to worry about. Jesus knows all of our sins and transgression and he knows that none of us can judge or point our fingers at one another. We're all guilty of some kind of sin. Your sin might not be as big as my sin, but the fact is,that it's sin anyway. It doesn't stop the big time hypercrites from judging us about our sins, but we must not forget what Jesus said. If we judge, we will be judged. We must be aware of our indignities for the most part. The bible tells us the only way, we can tell anyone about doing wrong or sinning is to get our own life in order. That means for us to clean up our own house before we can tell someone else, how to clean up theirs. We should get the mote out of your eye before you can help our brother to get the beam out of his. If you don't want anyone judging you for your actions, then you should leave other peoples actins alone.
Take care of your own business before you can take care of anyone else's. In other words mind your own business and leave the other fellows alone. We judge people for their sins and transgressions in their lives without considering the errors of our own ways. We know that it's impossible to do that unless we're living a sin free life. I think that's a hard chore in this world. There are so many temptations, sins, iniquities, and transgressions to live totally sin free. My mom once told me, that if I would live my life totally free of sin here on this earth, that God would come down and get me, because this world is so full of sin and that to stay here. Staying here would only get me dirty again. Even King Solomon as wise as he was, stated these verses in Ecclesiastes: Be not righteous over much, neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself. Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time. For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
These are all famous verses of King Solomon, telling us about sin and righteousness and letting us know that there a balance between the good and the bad, and we have to find that balance between the two and live our lives accordingly. I think the balance between the two is living as closely to not sinning and committing less iniquities as possible to balance it out. I think treating our brothers and sisters in Christ the way we want to be treated will help in the process.. We know that all things are possible with God, so with Gods help we can live a practically sin free life style. If we live our lives according to Gods word we want have any reason to cast stones at anyone.
