By Faith, Abraham Went Even Though He Did Not Know Where He Was Going
Abraham Did Not Know Where He Was Going
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.
(Hebrews 11:8-9 NIV)
Start Children Off On The Way They Should Go
I was so hurt inside when watching the news of seventeen killed in mass shooting at high school in Parkland, Florida. May God comfort and encourage the parents and the families of the students. I hope these students were taught about God and Jesus Christ, hope all students have come back home in the heaven.
Abraham obeyed the Lord and taught the children of God. Today we leave God's word out of school, dropping prayer in class. Please ask God to protect students. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." and Jesus also says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10:14)
I wish the government would teach the Bible for the student in school and pray before every class as when I was eleven years old Americans came to Vietnam and were do that. No one knows the bad guys will attack the student, no one protects students safely as Almighty God.
Let obey God as Abraham was obey God. By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was go, he also obey God taught God's word for his children and by the faith of Abraham all nations blessed.
We need to protect students in a concrete way, according to Jesus' lesson, every school should have a gate, a guard is gatekeeper, and every student must wear a student card. To do this, we will easily identify the thief who robbed the students because the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:1,9-10) Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber... I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

All Nations on Earth Will be Blessed, Because Abraham Has Obeyed The Lord
"And through your offspring, all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
(Genesis 22:18 NIV)
What did God have called and promised Abraham?
God called and promised Abraham, "The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing." (Genesis 12: 1-2). Abraham believed the Word of God, and he expressed his faith by obeying. This is not an easy task because once you walk away, it means you have to leave behind what you have always loved. Which relatives, friends, fields, property, the country, the country, the community and the old habits of life. He also left all his dreams and future plans in the beloved countryside. Abraham was ready to obey (Hebrews 11: 8).And when he walked out, he did not know where he was going. In the past, there was no map, no books for reference, he did not know where to go to the terrain, how the status quot. Also, he did not know the road to the promised bumpy or flat, peaceful or full of danger. Unaware of what he would face, he still trusted God with all his heart went without knowing where he was going.
For the children of Abraham, God promised, Abraham will become a great people. But his wife, Sarah, was barren. After years of waiting, old and still have no children until Abraham was one hundred years old and Sarah was ninety-one years old, she became pregnant and gave birth to only son Isaac. If we have faith, we are ready to wait for God because not what we ask, God gives us immediately. God grant us sooner or later we trust in His faithfulness.
I have chosen him so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord
For I have chosen him so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.
Genesis 18:19 New International Version (NIV)
All Nations On Earth Will Be Blessed, Because Abraham Has Obeyed The Lord
All Nations on Earth Will be Blessed Because Abraham Has obeyed The Lord
We have studied the first part of Abraham's life, the one God calls and follows him with faith, in the following we will learn the steps in the life of Abraham. God sees where we are and what we do, He also sees what difficulties we are facing. He was guarding the life of Abram and Sara, he protected them and brought them back. But the Lord appeared to Abram and Sara when they came to Egypt. God knows the situation we are facing, present Himself to Him and ask Him to lead when no one trusts in him ever to be ashamed.
Abraham's father is one of the great examples of faith found in the Bible. From Genesis 11:27 to 25:11 we can study the adventures of Abraham's faith and avoid his tracks. Abraham sometimes makes mistakes like all of us but in general terms, his life was marked by faithful obedience to God. Whatever the Lord called him to do, he believed that his call always included divine assistance allowing him to carry out his command. Thus, he expressed his faith through obedience to God in difficult situations.
God knows us better than we know ourselves! The Creator has an unparalleled understanding of our spiritual, emotional, soul and physical needs. When we pay attention to ourselves, He expresses a deep understanding of our nature, desires, and aspirations. God knows our limits, but He knows the potential of our good. The Psalm says, "He knows what we are made of, He remembers that we are dust." (Psalm 103: 14) So we can feel secure in our spirituality while trying to follow His law, ready to submit to His guidance.
Let obey God as Abraham was obey God. By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was go, he also obey God taught God's word for his children and by the faith of Abraham that all nations blessed. Love and discipline in the Lord's way will help the student not leave the path of life in any situation.
