He Willingly Accepted Death Because of His Burning Love That He Has For Us

Updated on March 5, 2014

CALVARY

Jesus Christ, age 33 of Nazareth died Friday on Mount Calvary, also known has Golgotha . Betrayed by the apostle Judas, Jesus was beaten and crucified by the Romans by order of ruler Pontius Pilate. The cause of death were crucifixion, extreme exhaustion, severe torture and loss of blood .

Jesus Christ a descendant of Abraham and was a member of the house of David . He was the son of the late Joseph a carpenter and Mary His devoted Mother . He was born in a stable in the city of Bethlehem, and is survived by His mother Mary, His faithful Apostles, numerous disciples, and many other followers .

Jesus was self educated and spent most of His adult life working has a teacher. Jesus also was known to occasionally work has a medical doctor and it is reported that he healed many patients .

Up until the time of His death, Jesus was teaching and sharing the good news, healing the sick, touching the lonely, feeding the hungry, and helping the poor. Jesus was most noted for telling parables about His Father’s kingdom and performing miracles, such as feeding over 5,000 people with has little as five loaves of bread and two fish, and healing a man who was born blind .

On the last day before His death, He gathered His Apostles together and had a Last Supper celebrating the Passover Feast, at which He foretold of His betrayal and death .

The body of Jesus was quickly buried in a stone tomb, which was donated by Joseph of Arimathea, a loyal friend of the family. By order of Pontius Pilate a boulder was rolled in front of the tomb’s entrances and Roman soldiers were put on guard

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that everyone follow in Jesus’ foot steps and live your life has He did and treat others has you would want them to treat you . Donations may be sent to anyone in the world in need, and may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always .

GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER

O Jesus, Who by way of Your burning love for us
has willed to be crucified
and to shed Your Most Precious Blood
for the redemption and salvation of our souls,
look down upon us here gathered together
in remembrance of Your most sorrowful Passion and Death,
fully trusting in Your mercy;
cleanse us from sin by Your grace,
sanctify our labor,
give unto us and unto all those who are dear to us our
daily bread,
sweeten our sufferings,
bless our families and friends,
and to the nations so sorely afflicted,
grant them all Your peace,
which is the only true peace,
so that by obeying Your commandments, in our last days and last breath of this life, we may come at last to the glory of heaven.

Amen.

Thankyou. It takes time sometimes for us to duly give the proper respect to Jesus our God, as we are weak and human, but it's inspiring for you to encourage the stations of the cross, I just read another inspiring hub with a video from the Passion of the Christ, one of the greatest movies ever made, or maybe the greatest. For what is more important than the truth that Jesus Christ, real historical person, of sane mind- no insane person would suffer that greatly for no good reason, impossible ; that he willingly died for us his creations, because he loves us so much it hurts. "He loves us so much it hurts!" How 'romantic' in a way, the perfect spouse of our souls loves us that much- now I understand why they say God is the perfect spouse, spiritually, and why people like nuns and priests devote thier entire lives serving him, "What greater love doth man have, than to lay down his life for his friends"

What a beautiful story and I somehow missed it. I don't think we will have too much longer to wait to see our Lord. Will be His birthday again soon won't it? I think some were calling for Him to be here before another Christmas but I can't remember now what that was about. Hope many find Him before He does come again.

This was a wonderfully written hub....I like how you wrote the article starting out with His obituary, and how you gave glory to our Lord Jesus, by stating the amazing things He has done for us, especially dying on the Cross for us because He loves us so much!

Kashmir, I didn't see this hub of yours until just a moment ago, and I have to say I'm so glad I saw it.....I am voting this way up, beautiful and interesting!......take care my friend!!!

I pray for God's blessings in your life,

    Helen

St. Anne was the mother of Mary who is the Mother of Jesus. She is the grandmother of Jesus and she has been given, like Mary much power to grant intercessary prayer, since Jesus refuses not much when his mother and grandmother ask.

Anne is the patron of widows and intercedes for many things. I was just reading about her last night, I found a book my mother had on her. It's really beautiful.
