He meant what He said

Updated on February 7, 2011

the way things "oughta be"....

My brother took this picture a few months ago. I really like this picture, it has for some reason, really stuck in my heart, It makes me think about the way things "oughta be". Politics, religion, wars, and TV, all these things can make you lose track of is really important. The very things that are right in front of you.

Every now and then, you gotta stop, slow down and realize that everything that man has to say and do, will come and go, but, Gods creations will be around for as long as He allows them too.

Those water falls in this picture has been right there, for years and years and years....doing this very thing. Everything that is going on in our day to day lives will drive a person crazy, until you stop and look at the blessings that God has given us. Right in front of our faces, but yet we look past them.

This is really a pretty simple life. The only thing that this Creator of all has asked is, that we just acknowledge WHO He is, that He is real, that He allowed His one and only Son to be born as a man, just like us, to live a life among us, and to be a blood sacrifce for ALL of our sins, so that we can live a eternal life with Him in paradise.

To many this is just outrageous and ludicrous. It seems to me that so many out there are determined to do EVERYTHING under the sun to take our focus off of God, for what ever reason they may have, claiming that He never existed, that the Word of God is just a book made up by some pretty smart men, men, who derived from the ape genes 30,000,000,000 years ago, after a BIG EXPLOSION! BAM! This PERFECT universe was created .... by nothing, it just happened

But, WOE is those who have the gall to say "wait a minute!....this God thing.....well, there JUST MIGHT be SOMETHING to it"

Bottom line folks, wouldn't it be better to live your life as if God and His Word exists as we are told just as the Holy Bible says and give your life to Christ. THEN find out you was wrong when you died.....nothing lost...........rather than to live your life as God never existed and die and find out that God was/is as He said He was......and He meant what He said?

I'm just rambing my thoughts, and I know it's just another Monday morning, but I for one am so thankful for such pictures as above to keep my life in perspective, and for my faith, that really givse me a sense and purpose for existing.
