How Suicide Victims Can Go To Heaven
DISCLAIMER
I do not suggest suicide and this in no way supports suicide. This is to explain how one can be forgiven for such an act and is for educational purposes as well as to give relief to those who had someone close to them commit suicide. I am not responsible for any actions taken as a result. Please seek help if you are feeling suicidal.
Why Suicide Can Be Forgiven
Is suicide a sin? Suicide is a sin as it is considered murder. Suicide is the murder of your own life. With that being said, can the person still go to heaven? The answer is yes. Suicide is forgivable as it is not the unforgivable sin. The unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the holy spirit; to be more specific, blasphemy against the holy spirit is stating that the works of Jesus Christ is that of the devil and that is the only sin that can't be forgiven; therefore, suicide can be forgiven.
How Suicide Is Forgiven
We are in the church age where we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice alone and not by our works. If we were saved by our works, Jesus would not need to die on the cross for us.
If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that you are a sinner and that you're sorry for being a sinner, that Jesus Christ is God, that Jesus died for your sins so that you can be saved, and that Jesus was resurrected, then you are saved.
Salvation is eternal and as long as you truly believe in your heart and confess to God with your mouth at least once in your life, all of your sins; past, present, and even future sins will be forgiven which means includes suicide.
How To Confess To God
Pray to God and Say The Following:
"Dear God, I am sorry that I am a sinner. I do believe that Jesus is God who died and resurrected to save me. I put my faith in that alone to save me and not of my works. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen."
You only have to say this to God one time; however, you also have to truly believe this in your heart. If you do that, you are saved and your salvation is eternal. All of your sins; past, present, and future will be forgiven. If we were saved by our works in the church age, Jesus would not have needed to die for us on the cross.
