What we believe creates our human reality

Updated on April 2, 2016

Nadine’s research for her visionary fiction novel series about the awakening of consciousness has led her to insights that she shares here.

Reaching higher states of consciousness.

  • How did we, on a global scale, manifest the growing stress, depression, and global problems that are rife in our today’s reality?
  • Are there any solutions to these problems?
  • How do we awaken to our true reality; a world that is born from a new desire that will lead us to unlimited, everlasting fulfillment?
  • Is there a test method to discover the higher states of consciousness for ourselves?

Those are the questions all my characters ask themselves in my visionary fiction novels.

Hans and Liesbeth – walk-ins from a Parallel Universe

Some of the dialog in my fifth novel: Parallel Worlds was influenced by writing this article.

When Hans (one of the nine main characters) was trained for his assignment to become a walk-in on planet Earth, this was the dialog that I heard.

“You mean you can get people to accept something as truth even if it’s not real?”
Hans replied to the teacher.

“Yes, but most of all, the belief-makers have managed to make humanity believe in all things outside of themselves.

“Antimatter and matter were created in equal amounts in the Big Bang, but when you live on Earth, which is a matter reality, nobody can see antimatter around them.” POWAH replied

Everyone wants to believe in something

Our thoughts, Beliefs and Emotions Shape our World. Beliefs come in many shapes and sizes and not all of them can be described as religious. ALL things in our physical world, whether they are events, conditions, and circumstances as well as everything in the entire Universe, all stem from the beliefs we have about them. Many of our beliefs were established in childhood. Body image, whether negative or positive, is shaped by a variety of factors and others come from our perceptions.

What is the abstract nature of belief?

All beliefs are elusive and intangible. We cannot “touch” a belief but it certainly has a way of touching us. Our beliefs modify the way we think, how we act and feel. Spirituality, our thoughts, emotions, and success or lack of success in life are all closely intertwined and interconnected.

It was during the late seventies – after a very profound experience of a personal nature – that I began my search for the deeper meaning of life. I was seeking answers to some complex and unanswerable questions pertaining to life in general. I first began that search in structured religion, but then after a time I discovered Quantum Physics & Spirituality.

My spiritual mind sought the truth and so I spend many, many lonely nights pondering and wondering.

Quantum Physics & Quantum Mechanics

How it is that Quantum Physics more specifically Quantum Mechanics determines the outcomes in our life, the world around us as well as things we can't even see yet?

Quantum Physics is the study of how, what and why everything that makes up the universe as well as everything in it, both the seen as well as the unseen, is derived and how everything in the tangible world comes into existence. Quantum Physics analyzes things that are experienced in life in various forms and traces them back to where they originated and were derived from. It reveals the simplicity of our conscious as well as our unconscious and unintentional Manifestations.

Quantum Mechanics is an in depth study of the building blocks of the ENTIRE Universe, the SEEN and the UNSEEN.

My novel: Parallel Worlds is all about an anti matter world, so I needed to educate myself on the topic of anti-matter

Our world is made of matter, which consists of three types of particles called electrons, protons and neutrons. Each particle has a specific mass and electric charge.

Antimatter particles have the same mass as the particles that make up our world, but carry the opposite charge, that is why we are not aware of this anti matter reality.

The science of pure energy or "light."

We’ve all been conditioned into “believing” that we’re just a tiny speck in the macrocosm not so?

New science today accepts that the universe, including us, is made up of pure energy, separate from matter, and that the universe is also made of pure energy ... and that atoms are continuously giving off, and absorbing, light and energy, all the time.

Scientists have long been able to convert matter to energy; the most spectacular example is a nuclear explosion. Now physicists have succeeded in doing the opposite; converting energy in the form of light into matter – in this experiment, electrons and their anti-matter equivalent, positrons.

What role do you feel beliefs play in your reality?

See results

Why is our reality a matter Universe?

An extraordinary theory that has been getting credit lately is one that suggests our own universe is actually a hologram. If this is true, then that means that the universe as we know it may be the result of processes happening on some other surface or plane. Who knows? The following great quotes confirm for me that there is a logical explanation for this belief phenomenon, or is it some kind of secret cosmic mystery?

  • Whatever your mind can conceive and can believe, it can achieve. ~ Napoleon Hill
  • Whatever we think about and think about we bring about. ~ John Demartini
  • Whether you think you can or can’t either way you are right. ~ Henry Ford

Everything that exists whether in nature, or sounds, colors, oxygen, the wind, thoughts, emotions we experience. The chair we are sitting in, our house, car, our physical body, the stars, our ability to see, hear, smell, etc. all exist only as a result of this very same energy.

The Copenhagen Interpretation revealed that energy is waves and when ATTENTION is placed on it, all other probabilities collapse (wave forms) and a "particle" (matter) is formed.

The energy being studied took form immediately based on the thoughts and beliefs of the scientist who was observing it!

Is having a personal experience enough for us to awaken?

I feel that Music is perhaps the last conduit for elevating the masses into a higher consciousness.

John Lennon In his song - “God is a concept by which we measure our pain.” mentions many ideologies and icons he doesn’t “believe” in

“I just believe in me... and that reality.” These are profoundly insightful words from someone who clearly understood the illusions that blind and bind us.

Kathy's Song was written by Paul Simon and performed by Simon and Garfunkel “I stand alone without beliefs— the only truth I know is you.”

It took me many years to find what came close to what I call truth. I had to first unlearn what had been sewn into my young psyche at such an impressionable age, and later during my first 33 year marriage from the late seventies until the early nineties to find the truth and the philosophy I could live by.

I had feelings of guilt for being the instigator of our divorce, but I learned to let go.

Source

At the deepest level we are all free spirits

We are entitled to believe in what we want, but we should understand that beliefs are not the same as truth. Beliefs are malleable and can change over time. Truth is universal and will withstand the ages. Once surrendered to an external belief system, we’re honor-bound to serve it.

Religion for me is like all faiths, they preach peace and love as they march their children to war. There is such hypocrisy and deceit behind the velvet pulpits of shame that I would rather call myself an atheist.

Spirituality is also a belief system albeit a personal one. It does not suggest our belief is the right one or the only one. We can separate our self from the spectacle that surrounds us externally. That is called living with an inner-knowing and an inner-peace.

Today much beyond that is a real reach in my world, as the author of our awakening to our ascension series. What we call belief is merely a presumption, opinion or an understanding. We all may feel like Annelies

Are we all born as a result of an idea?

My name is Annelies. I’m not really sure who Annelies is. I could just as well be a character in a novel. How real is that? But of course I think I do exist just as you, the visitor that reads these words. I'm well aware that the world as I see and experience it is a projection of my mind. So be it....

We are all the actors on the stage, but if we become spiritually aware, we then are more attuned as the observers of the roles we play. Like Annelies when she asked: Are we living in the mind of God?

Of course we are living in the mind of God, what other answer could be true?

Music is the first conduit to elevating mankind to the consciousness of God.

In the book The Infinite Harmony written by Michael Hayes (subsequently banned in America), published in 1994 he describes how music theory is the bridge between science and religion.

He shows beyond a reasonable doubt that the rules that govern music also proportionally define particle physics and molecular biology (our DNA).

Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do

      1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8/1

      Coincidence, hardly!

Consider that God sang the Universe into existence and all the laws of the Universe use music as its basic theory and you begin to comprehend how the rules of music are inter-woven into the fabric of space and time.

Then consider how musicians all seem to gain a spiritual insight the rest of us lack and you will then begin to recognize why it is such a powerful spiritual tool.

Another great article . . . keep on trucking, girl!

I think we lost "living in the mind of God" in Atlantis and we are working our way back. The Ascension is real to some of us, but others are oblivious to its happening. While there is the potential for us to create greater things by thinking greater thoughts, two things may stand in our way (1) the dweller on the threshold, who is the naysayer and prevents our thoughts from coming into being and (2) our sacred contract. In the case of number (2), our subconscious works to tell our conscious mind that isn't the path we should take. We can override the sacred contract and get what we want now anyway, but it is a "buy now, pay later" deal for us. This is another great hub, Nadine. namaste! Voted up and shared.

Mizbejabbers in what way is it a buy now pay later deal, please explain?

    • MizBejabbers profile image

      MizBejabbers 2 years ago

Oh, sure, somethingblue, I'll be glad to. It is a matter of karma. My spiritual belief system says that before we are born, our soul makes a sacred contract with God to live a certain life path. If you break a sacred contract, you will have to do it all over again. Some people who do not believe in reincarnation or karma still believe in "what goes around comes around."

An example of breaking a sacred contract would be allowing a parent to talk you into becoming a doctor because doctors make a lot of money and have status. Instead you had made a contract to be an elementary school teacher, but you became a doctor instead.

I realize that some religions don't believe in this, so if it is not in your belief system, just ignore it. (For the record, I still believe in Christ, but not in the fundamentalist Christian way.)

I endorse your statement that "beliefs modify the way we think, how we act and feel." I've spent the last week with a relative's teenager who has completely different values than I do and thus processes the world very differently. Where I see opportunity for openness and tolerance, his upbringing has unfortunately taught him to turn away, shame those who are different, and hate the unknown. Religion plays so much a part of our value systems and can be either a negative or positive filter in how we process the world.

Interesting Mizbeabbers, as I too accept the contract but see it more in spiritual terms rather than life choices. For instance whether you become a doctor, lawyer of school teacher matters not at all, what my conception of the contract is the way you live your life.

The contract to me is if you learn the lesson in your life, whether it is paying off a past Karmic debt, learning to love unconditionally, accepting God into your life experience, becoming tolerant of others sexual choices, becoming a father or mother and raising children or things of that type of nature.

I don't think the contract can be broken, unless you commit suicide, which to me is not an option no matter how bad life gets. Having been to the bottom and climbed back to the top I can tell you, from experience that life teaches you lesson everyday, the point is if you're paying attention to them.

To The Examiner-1 speaking of paying attention the songs are how the rules of music are a spiritual tool designed to awaken your soul to the infinite song of the Universe.

Your first paragraph brought to mind a show that was on a few or many years ago called Sliders. Have you ever seen that one? It is about a couple of people that got together and they opened a portal to many other parallel Universes. They got stuck going to many ones trying to find their way back to the one that they came from. It was very interesting and I loved watching the show. It opened your mind to other possibilities.

I think that I visited a parallel universe once. It lasted about 10 minutes and it was really strange to have experienced it.

Many thanks for that explanation. I pondered over that. My parents discouraged me to follow any career to do with writing, because - being a dyslexic_ they ( when I was a teenager and young adult) ) knew it would just hurt me and stimulate my already lack of self esteem. It took me forty years to follow my dream, which was to paint a story with words.

Dear Kevin thanks for reading my hub. When I do research for my novels I always need to intellectualize my questions. This is so I can write the dialog between my characters. While writing fiction its important for me to, at the same time, set the scene so to speak. Music was therefore an important aspect, so I can incorporate the feelings that comes up during any kind of debate. As I mentioned: the last conduit for elevating the masses into a higher consciousness is through music.

Great reply Daniel. It took me forty years to follow my dream, my passion, which was to paint stories with words. I think that our Soul will always find a way to make us follow our Soul Purpose by creating a "passion" for something, no matter what obstacles we have to encounter. The lessons we learned make us what we are today.

somethingblue, I don't disagree with you on your concept of sacred contracts as the way you live your life because I think that is an important part of it. Maybe the example I used was not a good one. Let's say that you had a sacred contract for anything, doctor, teacher, even a good housewife and mother, but you didn't do it because you chose to party your life away and never accomplished what you came here for. That would definitely call for a redo.

Caroline Myss has some good thoughts on sacred contracts, especially on the establishment of this country, i.e. she says that George Washington had a sacred contract to lead the colonial army to victory. If he had not fulfilled that contract , he would have paid dearly for it as a soul later.

I feel that most people know if they have not yet followed or worked on their sacred contracts as you called them. When a person comes to me with that fear, I asked them what makes them truly happy. My intent would be to help the person removing their fear of not being good enough. Again any belief system can hinder a person's growth.

I am glad that you found it Nadine. It is a thought rendering show.

I have the book by Caroline Myss about Sacred Contracts. Though some of it I could not comprehend it was interesting. I think more of re-incarnations and the learning process of the specific lives that we choose to learn them from. I also had a NDE about all of live and why we are here and there and in other planes and the people that we are with almost all of the time. I am beginning to understand about the programming of us and of this whole planet. As in my hub that I wrote about it, we are all programmed for natural things, like sex and reproduction...even down to the plants and insects here. Now in my NDE those who repeatedly failed at their lessons they were to learn or became overly dark (such as serial-killers and people like that) they were taken to another part of the building that we all gather back into to get re-acquainted with home. They were re-programmed. I had that article on here but got such negativity that I put it on Bubblews, which got some views and no negativity there.

Lady Guinevere your re-incarnation belief, might very well also be a program. I do for now go along with it, since it makes mentally sense, but lately so much has come up for me that I even start to question things like: If there is no such thing as time, or if our world is a hologram, a program, then..why are we not waking up from this dream like state? Glad you had more success on Bubblews with your article. At least you got paid for it a lot faster!

Hologram is right Nadine. Now I am beginning to ask why did I choose these things or did someone really get into the mix just to have some fun with my program. See my last hub chapter 12

Nadine, re: your conversation with Lady G., why are we not waking up from this hologram? We are, it is called the Ascension and it occurred in December 2012 with our entry into the Aquarian Age. Those who know a lot more about it than I do say it will take about 300 years for humanity to fully wake up and get with the program. For more information, I suggest these for reliable references: Earth-Keeper Chronicles, Lightworker.org, and any others who keep with the teachings of Lord Metatron and Archangel Michael.

Many thanks for your comment and suggestions. I do not follow anyone like Lord Metatron and Archangel Michael but yes indeed I have heard about these channels. They have been around for many years but I've learned to rather follow my own inner guidance. Many of us are already moving into a "new earth reality" but due to the shaking and turmoil on several vibrational levels, most light workers their job is to stay "awake" and grounded through at all.
