How We Can Use Life Lessons as Motivation to Succeed

There are many lessons we can learn in life, but the most valuable and useful ones are not taught in school. Lessons we can only learn from our own & others experiences which could be a turning point, a life-changing event and motivation to keep us going, to succeed in whoever we want to become and do whatever we dream to achieve.

To make good use of your life lessons as your motivation to succeed in life. Write those lessons and include affirmations like I did below.

You may opt to print it & post it on your wall, that is if it's short and sweet. So every time you passed by that wall & see it, you will be reminded of what you've learned from your past mistakes, failures or rejections and how you are overcoming those things now and still trying tirelessly to achieve your goals & dreams in life.

But if it's long like mine, you can save it on your phone as a note. Read it every time you're feeling down or discouraged. This will help you to get back on your feet and keep going.

Mine goes like this:

I learned that there is so much one can do in life

One may not even know where to start

I'm aware that there are 3 deterrents -

money, time and ability

I didn't have enough money to start with

But for sure I can earn it

If there's no time I will make time for it

And though I might not be capable to do all those things

At least I want to, at least I would try

I learned not to give up on searching for the things I really want to see

If others say "Oh you can't find it anywhere"

I would still look and find it myself

Until I found what I'm looking for

I would not give up

Until I realized there's really none and had convinced myself

I couldn't find what I'm looking for... for now

I learned that money though necessary, is not the most important thing in the world

And the happiness you get from having enough or so much of it are only superficial and temporary

Many are dying even they have much of it

Many are dying from wanting so much of it

And still many dies from lack of it

You can steal money but you can't steal love

Money can't raised a living from the dead but love can save lives

Yes money can solve hunger but those who are hungry for love cannot buy love

Because of love you can endure pain

Even if you buy all the pain relievers in the world with your money,

It cannot relieve sorrow nor despair

I learned not to allow my past define or control my future

I will not wallow on my regrets, heartaches or failures

I will rise If I fall and I will love again

I learned the more pain you get, the stronger you become

I learned not to fear pain but accept it

For the longer I can endure pain and not give up because of it,

the better person I become
