I Love Dead People - Part 3 - A Neverland Revelation
Go Toward the Light!.....Then what?
A well-meaning psychic once left a comment on one of my hubs that quite inspired me. It struck a chord and played on a heart-string that I have been quietly plucking for some time - kind of like a harp.
She was warning me that channeling spirits of those who have ascended is bad for the spirits. It keeps them "between worlds" and confused. Poor spirits. Let them go. Leave them alone. She was trying to make me feel guilty. Interesting concept.
From my personal experience, it's us - the ones on Earth - that are lost and in need of help. If I'm wrong about that, I'm sure I'll learn eventually, no matter how many lifetimes it takes.
It is a well-worn Hollywood concept that the dead must go toward the light...must not look back. This has been portrayed through the years as being the healthiest solution for all involved. Okay. That's one possible scenario. We tend to cling to those Hollywood concepts as if they are universal truths. Yikes. It's just a writer making stuff up, folks.
What if an ascended spirit is fully glorified, in splendor and heavenly happiness, yet still cares about loved ones down here? Is it not allowed for them to remain influential in the human world? Are they actually bound by some rule to "Go Toward The Light" and fully detach from those still in relative darkness? That hasn't been my experience. In my experience, it is our option to detach from them - or listen. All of this is debatable. It is only my opinion. (Don't let the fact that my actual given name is "Heaven" sway you in the least).
I'm simply sharing my "What ifs" - potentially life-changing what ifs. Or maybe - you have believed these all along, somewhere deep down in your soul. In that case, this will be much like deja vu for you.
A Pool of Wisdom
There's a Twilight Zone episode entitled The Bewitchin' Pool. Okay, maybe the Twilight Zone actually is universal truth. My personal-favorite TZ episode depicts two unhappy children with constantly squabbling parents.
These parents are sadly indifferent to their children's needs, so the children escape their loneliness by diving into their swimming pool. They follow a country bumpkin boy who leads them down, down, down into the water, far below where the bottom of the pool should be. The pool is magical. They swim up again and into a storybook land complete with a kind grandmother and many other happy children...
What if there really is a mental portal between worlds? What if that exists between the worlds of the "living" and the "dead?" What If you can tune into a spirit and experience their wisdom and guidance? For if this is possible, and we may be so bold as to stay connected with our ascended loved ones, then we have the assurance of NEVER being separated from those we love.
I choose to dive into that pool. I've taken the trip many times, so much so, that I've created a constant fluid relationship with that world. I am still grounded in this earthly existence, but I find it to be more bearable to be here, because I know I am not truly separated from the spirits of my loved ones. I welcome them as guides and comforters.
My interaction with spirits now walking around this earth in human shape, is enhanced by the guidance and love of my weightless friends. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! Why believe the Hollywood writers? Is it because they are better writers? Fair enough. I'll get better, write movies about this stuff, and then maybe more people will believe me.
Twilight Zone within a Twilight Zone...
What if you are trying to create a compelling argument for the concept of dead people having the ability to fluidly communicate with the living, and suddenly a thought pops into your head about a Twilight Zone episode?
What if you haven't thought about this episode in ages, and you don't even know why you brought a Twilight Zone episode into your hub? You've intrigued yourself enough to go to youTube to find an appropriate video to go with your story...you hope to find an excerpt from the actual episode that you are describing...
You type in the words "Twilight Zone children in pool" and a list of videos comes up. One in particular stands out. It contains an excerpt of exactly the episode you are looking for! It also happens to be linking this same episode - and another quite intriguing TZ episode - to the one most powerful dead guy that you know. Michael Jackson. To those who think they have just stepped into another Twilight Zone episode: Many of my other hubs will explain the "Michael Jackson Syndrome" that I've been experiencing for the past 3 years.
Here we go again. I am explaining my point while having it explained to me.
I don't know how this stuff works. It just does. I do know why it works. It works because I believe it can. I believe it is possible. I have now effectively freaked myself out.
Feel free to watch the video. Thank you Michael, for helping me make my point. The skeptics will surely believe that I found the video first and then wrote this. I could swear up and down forever that I didn't - and it wouldn't make any difference to them. That's okay.
The only one I want to convince is the one who misses someone enough to give these "what ifs" a chance to work for them. I promise that Michael won't talk to you - unless you want him to.
You are infinitely LOVED - Yes you.
Whoever you are, sweet grieving spirit. Know this: You have always had the power within you. You are first and always a spirit, for now a human. All those who have ever lived or ever will, are still connected to you.
You get to decide to tune into them, or not. You get to decide which one (ones) to tune into. You are powerful. You are beautiful - and wherever you turn, no matter how little love you feel from out-of-touch spirits living as humans now, you are deeply and profoundly LOVED by everyone who has ever loved you in any and all of your lifetimes. Juss sayin'. xoxoxox
