Is it the United Sates in Revelation

Updated on March 10, 2013

Could Revelation 18 be referring to the United Sates?

Which country has the largest commercialization in history?

Isn’t it The United States?

Which country produces the most porno in the world?

Isn’t it The United States?

Which country has the most drug addicts?

Isn’t it The United States?

Which country has the most people in prison per population?

Isn’t it The United States?

Which country controls the World Bank?

Isn’t it The United States?

Which country is the world’s military superpower?

Isn’t it The United States?

What does Jeremiah 50:23 say about the hammer of the world?

Could that be describing military power?

Doesn’t Isaiah 47 describe Babylon as a woman? What is the one thing that represents the United States? Could it be the Statute of Liberty?

Could all the science and drugs which is mostly made in The United States be described as the same thing as what wizards used to induce trances and how many so called intellectuals mock God in the United Sates more than any other country? Could the plagues be describing aids which are caused by unhealthy and unnatural sex?

Isn’t this exactly what Osama Bin Laden said was the reason the United States was attacked?

Isn’t there more aggression towards the United States from Russia?

Didn’t Russia just say they were cutting back on the number of adoptions the United States could have because of their immoral behavior towards the children that are adopted?

Something for you to think about.

      Good morning Disappearinghead.

Just as Daniel did not foresee the Greeks or Romans yet predicted them so too is there many things predicted in the Bible they knew nothing about.

      Good morning shofarcall.

That is the wonderful thing about the Bible. We can always have new things revealed to us. Thank you for your kind comment.

      Good morning Teaches.

You have given us food for thought, Teacher Joe. The signs are there and Biblical scripture would lead to many of these ideas as evident in our world today. Praying that out times yet on earth will be used to promote God's truth, and love in Christ.

Hi, Holy Spirit knows all things and Revelation IS HOLY SPIRIT/JESUS revealing what is to come at the end of time to John. So not really relevant what parts of the world John did or didn't know. This was prophecy.

Yes, teacherjoe as always, Revelation gives us food for thought and prayer. Blessings

No. Revelation generally talks about the sins of the World, and the only World known to John was Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
