Kanye West Comes to Christ!

I am about to tell you what I think about this Album that Kanye West put out Jesus Is King. You need to know that I am going to unabashedly share what I think of the music and the message of the album and what the outcome could be of it coming forward.

This may not be what I hope it is, Yeezy surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. It may just be him trying to sell an album, but the effect that his ministry with this album will have on the lives of millions of people could bring souls to their knees to call on Jesus, like Saul, Kanye could inspire the future of Christianity and become Paul, a great missionary for Christ!

God is not some abstract of inner morality society would have us think He is. All religions are equal under the law, but in providing salvation, there is only one, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Yeezy has found the truth and wrote a song about it. Eleven songs.

I love this song and I have listened to it repeatedly since I heard it first. What is God? He exists. This is the truth that people need to know. Sometimes it takes a famous person to say something before the people of the world, in general, will listen to the message.

God used a great antagonist of the Christians at the beginning of the Christian movement in the form of Saul. Through a miraculous experience, Saul saw Jesus Christ and converted his life over to teaching about His resurrection and gospel message, which is to love and serve all people.

Was Kanye on a road where Jesus show him His power to convert him to His work? How I hope that is the truth. The music and lyrics are a profession of his conservative view. No, not a political conservatism, but to preserve the truth about the sabbath. Listen to Closed on Sunday.

God is LOVE.

Jesus has so many followers because He asserts that He has the power to change lives. He does. Every servant of God invites all people to come to Christ.

And now, my beloved brethren and sisters, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of Him salvation, and the power of Him redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto Him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved. [Omni 1:26]

Christ offers a way for each person to recognize his or her sins and change, repent. The wages of sin is death [Romans 6:23] and Christ has paid the price for us! All we need to do is repent and live lives of service as Jesus did until we, like Him, will die and be resurrected in glory and power to continue on through the eternities with Him.

Knowing that there is nothing that we can do to separate us from the love of God through Jesus Christ brings with it a power to change that is psychologically empowering in a way that nothing else is. With this power, it gives believers hope to work through our problems and seek God to comfort us when tempting and devastating trials come our way.

Protection? From what? Distractions, deceptions, and discouragement. Elder Peter M. Johnson, a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taught recently at the Church General Conference,

You are elect sons and daughters of God. You have the power to overcome the adversary. The adversary, however, is aware of who you are. He knows of your divine heritage and seeks to limit your earthly and heavenly potential by using the three Ds:

• Deception
• Distraction
• Discouragement [1]

Jesus Is King because He loves His people with His life. He gave it to pay for the sins of all people. He is King because He offers salvation to all who accept Him as their Savior to have a joint inheritance with Him in the heavens. What other King offers His people an equal share in His inheritance in heaven? He is King because He is the best of us.
