LOCKDOWN in Prophecy?

Good Day !!

A few weeks ago I was led to this passage in Isaiah:

"The highways are deserted, no travelers are on the road.

The treaty is broken, its witnesses are despised, no one is respected.

The land dries up and wastes away, Lebanon is ashamed and withers; Sharon is like the Arabah, and Bashan and Carmel drop their leaves.

"Now I will arise," says the Lord.

"Now I will be exalted; now I will be lifted up.

You conceived chaff, you gave birth to straw;

Your breath is a fire that consumes you.

The peoples will be burned to ashes; like cut thorn bushes they will be set ablaze."

Isaiah 33:8-12

Seemingly the passage depicts our present situation while experiencing this crisis with COVID-19 which leads nations of the world to experience "Enhanced Community Quarantine" or Lockdown, when everyone is confined to his/her home thus no one is roaming the streets making it deserted. It also speaks of the breaking of truce, in such a situation we are in, the breaking of the quarantine rules is observed. Many times in many ways these quarantine rules are not strictly observed. A lot of people are breaking these quarantine rules.

Then it describes what is happening in dry season or summer, the withering of plants.

The ECQ happened during the dry or summer season in the Philippines.

Then it speaks of fire that will set the people ablaze.

Does it speak of the wildfires that are currently raging in different parts of the globe?

This week I saw a news that about a thousand firemen trying to put out the wildfires in Shandong province. Last week I heard a news about a fire raging in the forests of Poland and also Indonesia. Last month I heard the wildfires raging in Thailand and Ukraine. Bush fires have also sparked in Tanay and Antipolo, Rizal and Batangas in the Philippines recently. I have also read about the raging forest fires in Belize this week. As of this time, wildfires are raging in a South Korean province and various parts of Siberia.

I heard from a Christian scientist Mike from around the world, that these wildfires are just an expected phenomena to happen due to the heating up of the Earth Core or the falling of burning debris from heaven. The presence of the Binary System or the Nibiru System inside our Solar System causes the occurrence of these phenomena according to Mike from around the world.

It is also written in Isaiah 24:4-5,

“The earth dries up and withers,

The world languishes and withers

The heavens languish with the earth.

The earth is defiled by its people,

They have disobeyed the laws

Violated the statutes and broken the

everlasting covenant.

It is written in Joel 1:16

"Has not the food been cut off before our very eyes-

joy and gladness from the house of our God."

Does it speak of our present predicament, when we are not holding

our weekly fellowship since we are forbidden to have mass gatherings?

We are not receiving our weekly spiritual food and have been deprived of the joy of fellowship with the brethren.

It is written in Joel 1:19,

"To you Lord, I call,

for fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness and flames

have burned up all the trees of the field.

Even the wild animals pant for you;

the streams of water have dried up and fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness."

Does it speak of the raging wildfires engulfing various places in the world?

These wildfires have been taking place since the time we experience "Enhanced Community Quarantine" or Lockdown.

It is time for us to seek a deeper relationship with God. It is time to examine our hearts before God. It is time to consider our ways, if we are living uprightly before the Holy God. It is time to give God the highest priority in our lives more than anything else. It is high time to establish firmly our relationship with God. It is about time to make our calling and election sure.

If you do not have a relationship with God yet, you can start this relationship following these steps:

1) Acknowledge that you are a sinner.

It is written in Romans 3:10-11,

“There is no one righteous, not even one

There is no one who understands and there is no one who seeks God.”

Since birth no one among us truly desire naturally to seek God and live according to His will. We desire things that will give us pleasure and glory. Many times we try to achieve those things apart from the ways and will of God. Most of the times we live to gratify our carnal and sinful desires. We never consider if such desires please God. We live lives totally apart from the center of God’s will.

2) We must understand that our sinful life will lead us to death.

It is written in Romans 6:23,

”The wages of SIN is DEATH, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE through CHRIST.

This sinful lifestyle we live will lead us to DEATH, which is not simply the cutting of our breath during physical death but it refers to the second DEATH written in Revelation 21:8;

“But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars- they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

3) We must realize that our hope of being delivered from God’s judgment is found only in Jesus Christ.

Christ died on the cross, was buried and resurrected and coming again. He gave His life as a sacrifice to serve as ransom for our sin. God’s justice system requires death sentence for us sinners. Jesus died on the cross to bear our sin in order that we will no longer be condemned by God for our sin. We must put our faith on Christ’s finished work on the cross to receive forgiveness for all our sins. As it is written in Hebrews 10:14,

“For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

This sacrifice of Christ on the cross is perfect, complete and sufficient.

Christ's sacrifice on the cross is perfect, sufficient and complete. It is the only sacrifice acceptable to God for the remission of our sin. Through Christ's death on Calvary, God's plan of redemption for mankind was carried out.

4) We must also realize that we need to forsake our sinful lifestyle and have to completely yield our lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ

If we truly believe in the Lord Jesus, it must be evidenced by a life of total repentance and total surrender to His Lordship. As it I written in John 12:46;

“I have come into the world as light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”

This is God’s promise to all those who will believe and receive the Lord Jesus:

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name he gave the right to become children of God. Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision, or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

John 1:12-13 NIV

This marks the beginning of your relationship with God as His child. You will receive forgiveness for your sins and you will be a heir of eternal life and His Kingdom.
