Major chakras

What are chakras?

Chakra (prounounced sha-kra) is a sanskrit word meaning "wheel". They are energy centers that push life energy (called "ki" or "chi") throughout the body and they receive energy constantly.
If you have negative thoughts/feelings then your chakras are dark and can't receive sufficient energy. What this means is that you are left feeling tired and sluggish. If you do the opposite and fill yourself with love and positive thoughts then you will be left feeling more energised and balanced as the energy will flow smoothly and your chakras with be bright and colourful.
Each of the major 7 chakras which I will talk about have a different function. I will start from the bottom and work my way up. The bottom 3 chakras are to do with more material things such as money, relationships etc. The top 4 are more to do with spiritual issues.
