"Learning to forgive ourselves and others their transgressions"

Forgive is to pardon or over look someone's transgressions.

Matthews chapter 6 - 14 : For if ye forgive men their trespasses, heavenly father will also forgive you.

I have learned through life's experiences that self forgiveness is a hard thing to do ,for some of us. When we make mistakes or poor choices, it's hard for us to forgive ourselves these indiscretions. We need to learn the art of forgiveness; the letting go and letting God help us through it. We are so critical of ourselves, that the process of forgiveness and healing takes a while to accomplish; but it can be done.

The first thing we should do is, is pray and ask God's forgiveness and ask him to teach us; how to forgive ourselves and others that has harmed us and caused us undo pain. In order for us to forgive one another, our heart has to always be open to suggestions. Some of us don't realize, when we hold pain and hurt feelings in our hearts ; we are stagnated and cannot grow, until we forgive and let go of the pain.

We can't heal or grow until we forgive, and let go of the pain that has been blocking our blessings . Forgiveness is a process of healing that we all have to go through before we can move on. Pray to God for a forgiving heart, a loving heart, and when God answers our prayers; we can forgive ourselves and other their trespasses. Then we can put the hurt and pain behind us and reach out to a better and happier future.

If we forgive, we might not forget for a while, but if we keep praying God will help us to forget and put it behind us, one day.
