Choose an Uncanny Road

Everyone needs to have a path for himself
Everyone needs to have a path for himself

What Is The Uncanny Road?

There are many the roads in the world to help all you come to a place where you want, but they are only a medium, and cannot satisfy all everyone. So, is there another road? Of course, that road does not belong this world, but that road will give you a feeling is very exciting and mysterious. That is a strange road. The article will help you to analyze, to understand, and to apply it in the journey you chose to begin on an interesting adventure.

Everyone who wants to live must enter the narrow gate and walk on the narrow path because the narrow path leads to life, but few find the narrow gate and narrow path. Most people go to wide doors and wide roads, but the wide road leads to perishing only.

The Bible says: Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Math 7:13-14 NIV)

The narrow gate is a difficult path, the phrase “narrow is the gate” is fairly easy to understand. A narrow gate is harder to pass through than one that is wide, and only a few people can go through a narrow gate at once. In saying “difficult is the way which leads to life,” Jesus was explaining how hard being a Christian really is. The lexicon adds that the word can be used metaphorically to mean “trouble, afflict, distress, attack, prison, or die.” If Jesus wanted to draw people to follow Him, why did He tell prospective disciples that doing so would bring them grief? Who will accept following Him?

We remember that Simon Peter said to Jesus," Who do we go with you? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68). Why are some disciples going back, not following Jesus? How did Peter confess Jesus? Have you ever wanted to follow Jesus?
Jesus said that He has the words of eternal life and calls everyone follow Him (Matt. 11:28). However, He also said that only those whom the Father calls to reach Him (verse 65). Why did Jesus say that? To understand what He said we can visualize a recorded portal of Jesus. "Come to Me." In response to his invitation, we are the believers who enter the gate on the road, and when we look back, we see another inscription on the inside of the gate. "I called you.". You can walk on an uncanny road if God called you. Jesus is with you anywhere, anytime, now to forever.

How Could I Start to Walk on The Uncanny Road?

After the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, under the rule of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, My father was sent to a prison camp because he was a high-ranking Police Captain under Republic of South Vietnam.

In 1976, My mother and her twelve children, including myself, were sent to Tay Ninh province for re-education and resettlement because my father was affiliated with the Republic of South Vietnam. Tay Ninh Provine in South Vietnam is approximately twenty-five miles west of the Cambodian border. We were in the middle of an untouched rainforest. My day started at 5:00 a.m in morning and end at 7:00 p.m in the evening, as a kid I worked hard there. Once a teen student in the capital, now I have to work with a hoe. We all slept on the dirt floor. Our responsibility was to turn the rainforest into a livable settlement.

I still remember that I did not have money to buy a pen, around me is deep forest, poisonous water. Since I was eleven years old when I wrote articles for my school, I lost my school, my teacher, and my friends. In that deserted forest, I have to go to pick up leaves and purple fallen leaves, I took to get its water to write poems. Every day I have to go to plant the vegetable, we worked hard, but no food for lunch or dinner. My mother and twelve sisters and brothers have to eat forest fruits, and leafy because we lack rice as a food.

Not too long after, due to malnutrition, overwork, I suffered from typhoid fever. Living in the deep forest, no doctor, no nurse, my sick is getting heavier. I never forget the tears of my mother, a woman after the war, her husband, my father had to go to prison do not know about the day. She alone nurtures and teaches twelve children. When I heavy sick, my mother was crying, and pray for me, thank you, Lord, by His love I still alive.

It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young (Lamentations 3:27 NIV) and declares the Lord. Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand. (Jeremiah 18:6 NIV)

One day, after praying, I started reading the Bible, and my mind wandered from the prayer. After a short time of reading, I heard a voice say “Esther, let follow Me ”. It was a soft voice, but it had a firm, direct tone about it. I answered, “Yes, God?”. God told me: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)

Why Have I Chosen The Uncanny Road?

After the arduous days in Tay Ninh, in 1990, my entire family moved back to Sai Gon City. My life was very difficult, I can not remember a night that I did not cry during that time because we had lost our house, no money, no food, no book, or anything I needed for my life.

God still loves me a lot, in 1991, my husband and I met a Christian in Sai Gon City. Christianity gave me faith and hope in God. This glimmer of hope made me realize that this life is only transitory and that my pain and suffering is only temporary.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. (Matthew 5:6 NIV)

After Jesus changed my life through the Bible, from 1991, I invited many underground Christian meetings in private residences. I began preaching the gospel for everyone. I was choosing a walk on an uncanny road, with a lot unstable, challenges. Sometimes it's time to go through death. But I still brave to walk, because the front is glory, hope, and crown are waiting... Paul says: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8New International Version NIV)

The Road I Went to Preach in South Viet Nam

What Happened on The Road I Have Chosen?

In 1994, I began preaching secretly about the Christian faith in order to spread hope and joy by the savior is Jesus Christ to others under such an oppressive society. I wanted everyone to discover the joy and hope that I felt. Regardless of the secrecy of my endeavor, the police always managed to find out where I was because there were the eyes and ears of the Communist Party everywhere. Eventually, the police required me to the police station and I went to jail with twenty-four hours.

In the jail, I cried with God, I love new believers too much, I worry that who is person take of care my brothers and my sisters in the faith of God. Jesus taught me that those who are persecuted for righteousness are blessed because the kingdom of heaven is in their hearts! When we are persecuted by others, scolded and slandered for the sake of the Lord, we should rejoice, for the great reward.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for, in the same way, they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:10-12New International Version NIV)

Although I have imprisoned several times afterward, sometimes assassinated by my preach I kept walk courageously with God walk on the uncanny from today to forever. Paul said: I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 3:14 NIV).

In my article, we have learned about the primary responsibility of the believer, that is, go out and preach the gospel. We see this is not an easy thing to do because, like Jesus, we will face many opposition or persecution. In fact, believing, in general, is not an easy thing to do. Come to witness, if only promised to hear the good things in life, we cheated them. Yes, believing in God can end some difficulties in life; But belief in God also began some other difficulties. In Matthew 10: 34-42, Luke 12: 51-53 and 14: 26-33 we learn today, Jesus taught that believing in Him may pay This is a very expensive price because it has to give up some things that seem to have great value in life.

Would do you love it when the Lord Himself calls someone? And would do you like become a true disciple of Christ, following His command to do all He requires of His sons (male and female).
