Living righteously or sinfully?

Updated on June 19, 2013

How will you live?

Movies, Television, Music and electronic games as well as some board games are filled with sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like. Just like it says in Galatians 5:19-23 and warns us against becoming involved in. What you participate in and take in through your eyes will become a part of you and it will cause you to sin.
The heart of mankind has grown wicked, and it is getting worse. People are so focused on pleasure, power and riches that they can not see or they do not care about the destruction of mankind or of the hardening of their own hearts and morals. They will do whatever they want, as long as they are happy right now, the future does not exist to them.
But what they do not see, nor do they care to see is that they are on the road to destruction, both physical and spiritual. It has happened before, Genesis 6 (The great flood) and Genesis 19 (Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah).
The word of God clearly teaches us to remain pure before God, to turn away from sin. However, mankind is doing the very opposite, and we are taught that we should do what makes us happy, no matter what. We have the right to do as we please, no one can tell us what to do. This is taught in schools and through the media and is the complete opposite to what God says to us.
What is not taught are the dangers that come with this, what is also not taught is that true happiness can only come from God.
Galatians 5:19-23 19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
God wants us to be happy. If we believe in God, then we can be happy. Through Him comes true happiness, not false happiness that non-believers have.
John 14:1
14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
We must also turn away from sin; not be a part of it and not to take part in it.
Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Revelations 18:4
Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
With sin comes heartache, misery, sickness and eventually death. Those who live in sin will die in sin. But those who live pure and holy lives will live with Christ for eternity.
Do not listen to the prince of lies and live in sin but instead listen to the King of Kings and live the life He has for you, a life that will lead to eternal salvation.

There is not much time left, the signs are everywhere. Repent and allow Jesus to come into your life and make you clean and whole.
God Bless you all.

John 3:16
New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 8:36
New King James Version (NKJV)
36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
