Love your neighbour as yourself

Love your neighbor as yourself

Mathew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

The sum total of Christianity is explained here by Jesus himself that Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. Many times we found ourselves fail to fulfill this requirement of God. God is love. God loved us so much that he gave his one and only Son for our life. That is the greatest love.

Let us examine what is that which keep us away from God. Is it money? Is it love of flesh (sex)? Is it fame? There are three things which can keep us away from god. They are Girl, Gold and Glory. Our ego is another thing which can prevent us from doing the will of God.

If you have a true desire to love God, then, it is very easy for you to follow Him. When God created, He placed his spirit within us. Which guide us to do the right things. When we turn away and try to do things which are against the will of God, from within us you will hear a voice or thought that prevent you from doing that. That is the inner voice. If you listen and obey that inner voice, it will guide you in every sphere of your life. If you ignore that inner voice, very soon it will stop speaking to you. Obey the spirit.

There is happiness and joy in obeying the spirit of God. Then you'll be blameless and pure. Who does not want to live a life of happiness? Everyone wants to lead a good life. Pure and Holy. But for a little gain or profit, we ignore the great happiness and blessing awaiting us. If you make few bills by unlawful way, for a moment, you will be happy. But the guilt feeling will continue for ever and make you sad. The other thing which we should understand is that if you make few bills by unlawful way, you will loose money many times more than that amount by lawful way. For example if you gain $10 through unlawful way, you will lose $ 50 by visiting a doctor and medicine. When you made that $10, you are happy that you made $10. But without your knowledge, you are loosing five times more than what you have earned. The sickness, pain and the trouble of visiting the doctor are bonus for the wrong deed.

Remember that God is a just God. You may not be believing in a particular God. You may be believing in a force which is driving this universe. Whatever you name it, it is a just and True God. He will punish for whatever you does against the universal law. If you suffer unlawful loss, don't worry, that force is there to compensate that loss. you don't have to worry about it. That driving force is the God who is true and just. Who love those who do good and punish those who does evil. If you have any doubt about this, please observe your own life and deeds. Very soon you will find that the Just and True God is alive in your life too. If you ignore the God and continue in your sin, your reward is continues pain, problems, uncertainty, unhappiness and so on.

That is why the wise king said that the fear of God is the beginning of the wisdom. Fear God and do good. You will be happy in your life. When God bless you, you will forget the unlawful suffering you had in your life.Be patient and see the work of God.

That is why the first and foremost commandment is that "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" If you lover your Lord, you will obey his commandments. You will lead a righteous life. You will do good. You will love your neighbor. You will be honest. You will keep away from bad things and bad company. You detest sin. You will be like God. God is pure and holy. He does not like dishonesty. He shuns evil.

And the Second preference is "Love your neighbor as yourself." Apostle John combined these two commandments and teaching us that we can't fulfill one commandment and neglect the other. That means someone may say that I love the Lord, but I cannot love that particular person. That means he cannot fulfill one commandment and neglect the other. According to 1 John 4:20 - 21 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Many times Satan tempt us to follow one commandment and forget the other. Let us, therefore, understand the trick of Satan and do not fall into his trap.

So if you are not in peace with your brother, you can't be in peace with your God. Loving God and brother should goes in hand in hand. If you put all efforts to follow one commandment and neglect the other means you have broken the entire law. Many times we do this mistake. So, let us follow the entire teaching of Jesus and lead a fulfilling life.

I do so enjoy your writing, but if I may make a suggestion: you may want to proofread more carefully, bad grammar can kill ratings, remember it's the little foxes that spoil the vine.
