Manna food for Saturday September 18th

This is another  hub designed to help those of us who work in the forums, so if you are a Christian who writes in the forums, remember that God has all the exits covered, and no matter what 'rat holes' the ungodly attempt to escape by, He has provided the answers right there in His bible.

It never ceases to amaze me that those who reject God, then spend so much time complaining that He is unreasonable.

God created a whole world for us to have dominion over, and an eternal life to share with Him, and all He requires is our acceptance of His free gift of grace to all humanity.....salvation!

But you do need to stop the rejection of His authority and Christ, in order to receive it, but it is THAT SIMPLE.

The concept of this series of hubs is to produce a daily hub which delivers a spiritual message, using bible verse alone.

Verses used will be annotated for your Berean instincts to be satisfied, and for further contemplation if you desire.

Reading the word daily is an essential part of staying spiritually healthy, if you don't eat, you starve! 

If you are active in doing Gods works, then you need solid food, to remain strong in the word and be able to stand the attacks of the enemy.

So eat and drink deeply.

Speaking personally, I use the King James for study purposes, however I am using the Amplified Bible for these hubs (mainly) unless it has significant contextual differences, for it's easier to read, and who knows, maybe somebody will read these who is not yet in faith!

And God made the [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and domestic animals according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.]

And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable,

In order that they may [indeed] look and look but not see and perceive, and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend, lest haply (adv. By chance or accident.) they should turn again, and it [their willful rejection of the truth] should be forgiven them.

And I tell you, Whoever declares openly [speaking out freely] and confesses that he is My worshiper and acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man also will declare and confess and acknowledge him before the angels of God.

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you.

Not as the world gives do I give to you.

Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

The curse of the Lord is in and on the house of the wicked, but He declares blessed (joyful and favoured with blessings) the home of the just and consistently righteous.

He scoffs at the scoffers and scorns the scorners, yet He gives His undeserved favor to the low [in rank], the humble, and the afflicted.

Take care, therefore, lest there come upon you what is spoken in the prophets:

Look, you scoffers and scorners, and marvel and perish and vanish away; for I am doing a deed in your days, a deed which you will never have confidence in or believe, [even] if someone [clearly describing it in detail] declares it to you.

The wise shall inherit glory (all honor and good) but shame is the highest rank conferred on [self-confident] fools.....

...I speak as to children....open wide your hearts also [to us].

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith].

For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness?

Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?

What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]?

Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to [approach] the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city.

[But] without are the dogs and those who practice sorceries (magic arts) and impurity [the lewd, adulterers] and the murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood (untruth, error, deception, cheating).

^Commentary

In this hub we start with creation, God forming the earth for humanity to hold dominion over.

Many unbelievers worship the created, rather than the Creator, rejecting their authority and giving authority to 'Mother Nature' or trying to promote the whole program of 'Gaia'.

Such things may be attractive in our modern secular world, but they are as old as the hills, they reflect paganism, though the folk propounding these sentiments would not recognise or accept this.

Once someone buys into this deception, they may defend it to the death.... their death.... and will it seems.... challenge anybody who declares Gods glory.

Dominion means authority over, but authority ALWAYS comes with responsibility, and as believers we should never forget that.

Humanity has badly abused Gods Creation, and indeed it may be this fact that will form one of the deciding points in God calling time on we humans, and starting yet again, this time with Christ in authority over the earth, not us, and with Satan restrained for a season.

For those who have rejected Christ and God in this life, it will then be too late to complain that they are not included in this new earth.

For those who believe, it looks obvious that we should prepare to assume our roles in Gods Kingdom, and there is no better way to prepare than to practise whilst we are residing here on the earth, where Satan still holds dominion over all those who have rejected God.
