Each day we are blessed with meaningful coincidences—or synchronicities. Many of us may not be aware of them because we are either too busy in our lives to take notice, or we consider them as pure coincidence, and thus assign them no meaning. Synchronicities are events that are meaningfully related, and are blessed gifts in the form of guidance, validation, or pure grace.

In order to really understand the gift of synchronicity, first consider whether our Universe is deliberate or random. Is it true that everything really does happen for a reason? Albert Einstein said, “At any rate, I am convinced that He (God) does not play dice.” In my view, once we see that everything that occurs in our world is deliberate, we can then see how miraculous signs constantly shine light on how connected, purposeful, and attracting all aspects of our lives are. Synchronicity shows me every day that we create our life experience and that there is reason behind all life events.

If I receive an unexpected costly bill, at the same time I overhear on the television that someone won a million dollars, that “sign” would give me much peace and acceptance of the current state of my finances, knowing that I can choose to manifest what I need and more.

Perhaps I am torn between two job offers, and my friend calls and says she had a dream that I took a particular one and was really happy with my decision, I would most certainly consider that as a gift of guidance.

When a day seems particularly difficult, so much so that I feel like crawling back into bed, seeing a rainbow, or a cloud shaped like an angel’s wing, or catching “4:44” on the clock (the significance of which is described in my article on 444s) would give me instant renewed energy and hope. I consider these types of signs as winks from Heaven.

Sometimes I ask my angels to show me signs for a particular issue. I have no expectation in what way I’ll receive the sign, except that I know they will send it to me, in one way or another. Our angels want us to ask them for help, and we can have close relationships with them. All we have to do is ask and trust.

Awareness is the key to noticing and understanding the synchronicities in your life. When you’re out driving, be aware of what events occur. When you’re at a coffee shop or grocery store, what little nuggets of Divine information do you hear from a complete stranger? When listening to music, what messages are there in the lyrics that make you feel as if the words were written just for you? When you’re in nature, what do the animals, environment, or the sky (see article on the mystical side of clouds) communicate to you.

Synchronicity is a constant in our magical Universe. Just take notice and reap the rewards. Your life will change on a dime, most definitely for the better.
