Nuggets from Romans 8 - part - 4

Updated on June 1, 2014

.God has sacrificed his only begotten Son not only to offer us salvation but also to make him as the first born Son.

.As God did not procrastinate to sacrifice his son, He does not, most assuredly, withhold anything from us.

.God gives everything freely to us on the basis of His atonement that he has made through His son.

.None can lay any charge against God’s elect because God continues to justify them.

.None can condemn the God’s Elect because Christ died for them; rose again, sat at the right hand of the Father and continues to intercede for them till their perfection.

.The chosen ones cannot be separated from the Eternal love of God Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

.The question is” who shall separate us? ”not“ what shall separate us?” The Adversary attempts to separate the chosen ones from God’s love through various means; but he cannot succeed.

.The negative things like tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril and sword can never be able to quench the love of God towards us

.After our physical death also God will continue to love us. No one can stop the perpetuation of God’s love even after our death. He began to love us in the past eternity. His love for his elect abides forever--from everlasting to everlasting.

.The Chosen ones may go through experience of dying daily for the sake of the Lord.

Romans 8 - part 4

.In the midst of all unfavourable circumstances, we are more than conquerors. The chosen ones are promised with the victory over sufferings –not victory without sufferings.

.We are more than conquerors through him who loved us with the everlasting love.

.Paul was sure of the security of God’s love in his life that he could declare “For I am persuaded”. Are we sure like Paul?

.God is the one who has initiated His salvation in our life and He will continue to work out it unto the uttermost.

.The Eternal purpose concerning us came into God’s mind in the past Eternity.

.In the process of Eternal salvation there is no break down; He is able to accomplish what he has determined.

.God’s Election, Predestination, Calling, Justification, glorification and transformation are the major process of His salvation. The process of sanctification is not mentioned in this chapter: but God sanctifies us continuously in order to bring us unto the fullness of Christ. The process of conformation or transformation includes the process of sanctification.

.There is no possibility of any break down in the effectual process of God’s eternal salvation. From predestination to reaching the likeness of Christ, the processes are linked like a chain which is unbreakable.

.God has begun our biography not from our biological birth but from the period before the foundations of the world. We existed in the mind of God even before the foundations of the world.

.This chapter begins with the assurance of no condemnation and ends with no separation from the love of God.
