Once there were two people
Once there were two people who loved each other so very much, they wanted to give each other a gift for Christmas, but they did not have enough money to buy what the other needed.
The man needed a gold chain for his pocket watch, the woman needed a clip for her lovely long golden hair.
When Christmas came each had their gift for the other all neatly wrapped up and they exchanged their gifts.
Bob gave to Mary the lovely hair clip,
Mary gave to Bob the gold watch chain,
But as each gift cost a lot of money which niether had, bob sold his watch to get enough money to buy the hair clip for Mary.
And Mary cut and sold her lovely golden hair to pay for the gold watch chain.
When they unwrapped each of their gifts they saw that the gift now was no good to them anymore, but what they did was to give each other the most precious gift they could pay for, because of their love to each other, even they had to make a sacrifice to make the other happy by giving what they needed.
When we give to another do we go that far, do we make any sacrifies to please the other?
Didn't God make a sacrifice for us when He gave His Son to die for us, regardless the cost.
John 3:16. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,.............
