Online Bible Verses - Psalm 112:5 - Good will come to those who are generous

“Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.”

Psalm 112:5

Going through Psalms right now with my family. It is a long book, lots of Psalms. Psalms and Proverbs contain, among other things, many guidelines and topics pertaining to life and how we live it. Guidelines for conduct. Today’s verse set covers a few.

Are we in the habit of utilizing time, talent, wealth and/or property to benefit and help others? More importantly, if and when we are, do we derive joy from giving and helping?

In turn, maybe even giving praise and glory to He who provides and owns it all in the first place. Which makes us faithful and dependable stewards of what we have been blessed with.

See also, we are encouraged to act justly; fairly, in honesty and good will. In effect, fostering and cultivating relationships in the process. All these principles apply to the workplace, neighborhood, and/or any community we are part of. It’s just the way to be, and being that way should make us happy.
