My Favorite Color Is Orange - Why I Love This Color of Hope- It Is Important In My Family - Memories of You Mom And Dad

Updated on October 7, 2012
I love the color orange...I, too, have loved different colors throughout my life, but I always return to orange... Orange was my dad's favorite color...for most of my preteen years, everything we owned was, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, refrigerators....yes - refrigerators! My dad passed away when I was 11... My mother loved orange, as well. She was an avid gardener...she planted lots of orange flowers because the color brightened up the garden...My mom passed away last year... I love orange because it is a color of hope...of family...of love.... My favorite color is orange...

Enjoyed this hub, you were personal with your reasons for liking orange, also my favorite color. I'm happy to hear you get the same kind of feelings with it. Great work, voted up, awesome, interesting, and beautiful (:

How sad but also very positive. I love orange too, it reminds me of sunshine and warm days. Thanks.

Just knowing that both of your parents loved the color Orange probably brings you closer to them with something to hold on to in your heart. It was short but sweet; I enjoyed reading it.
