- WHAT IS THE BIBLE?
How do I define the Bible? It is the Word of God. It is the Word from God about mankind. It is the Word from God about redemption accomplished and applied. It is all about Jesus1 - Grace For Grace John 1:16
Grace Gifts of grace are those divine treasures God gives me that I do not deserve, and often grace is the lack of other so called, ‘treasures’ which I do deserve. Grace is free; (Read on...)
That ye may stand complete in all the will of God” (Col. 4.12).
O how I long for my arrival of ‘Completeness.’ As I rehearse the struggles of my life, I remember the several crossroads in this journey towards fulfillment. For example, I remember my impatience in wanting to drive a car; I remember the lessons from dad and the summer course in driver education; I recall the practices and the exam; Finally, I held that license in my hand. I felt completeness had come. Of course, driving a car was far from the completeness of life. It is just another transition into another beginning. The same might be said concerning my first ‘real’ job, or my first date, or my wedding day, or any number of milestones in my race of life! These times of completeness are but openings into other opportunities of this life.
My greatest feeling of completeness was when I come to Jesus as my personal Savior. I was in the seventh grade, and that night in revival I felt complete. However, I soon realized there was so much more to being saved in Christ! It is only afterwards that I grasped that there were manifold more times like this in Christ as we learn to walk in the Spirit of God’s only begotten Son. I would succeed at some but fail at many.

How can I be fit for the Master’s use?
I want above all things to do the will of God. The ever imminent question for the Christian is, “Where is this will to be discovered?” How can I measure my life by such a standard; how can I be fit for the Master’s use?
I love and long for completeness, but so many are the marks of my Incompleteness. I have come short every time I have tried for perfect obedience. I believe there is a perfect Truth, but I have not attained it. My aspirations for perfection have left me miserably far behind. My intellect cries one way, but my life ever seems incomplete; how I long for completeness. Here is my brain power howling out with Pilate, What is Truth? And where can I find it?
Matthew 11:25-30 At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (26) Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. (27) "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. (28) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (29) Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (30) For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
The answer is beyond my ability to stand complete in Him (in all the will of God.) I cannot attain completeness, it must be given me. This is where I discover the way of grace. I can only stand complete if He stands beside me, in front of me, and behind me. In this manner only then can the light of Jesus’ shadow cover me in all directions! Only thus am I complete in Him, and this is grace divine! This is the grace I find and share with you, my fellow pilgrim!
Do you want to find the way to Completeness? Here is the narrow and straight road which few find or seek after. Make God your portion and your prosperity is complete. Make Christ your morality and your robe is complete. Make His Spirit your constant Guide and your vocation will be complete. Seek Him first and ALL these things will be complete! The triune God is with you and alongside you for this very purpose.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
“He is a very present help in time of trouble.”
Not a remote and inaccessible divine being, living in the outer rim of the
universe—but a God within and nigh at hand to help in perplexities. We can touch Him every time we need Him.
