Our Duty Is to Obey God Instruction and His Duty Is to Keep His Commandment

Genesis 22:1-18

The chapter makes us to understand that, God is a God of principal and he does nothing without his word and principles. Our duty towards God and his duty towards us, it's not a one sided affairs both party are involved in the matter of getting and climbing to achieve God blessing. Is not left only up to God, it's certainly not left up to you it's both sides affairs.

ONE DAY God tested Abraham. He said to him,' ' Here I am,' he replied. then God said take you only son and go to the mountain i will show in the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there on one of the mountain as a born offering on the place I will show you. And Abraham obey God and did what God commanded him to do. Genesis 22:1-2

Let us think what would have happened to Father Abraham if he had waited for a more convincing time to carry out God's command We know it was not convenient for Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, just as it is not convenience for anyone to give out the only thing he has.
." Genesis 22:2

You know, you have children. There are some of your children of whom you would say, " who you say all sort of things.,
suppose Abraham had waited for a more convincing time and day to carry out God's instructions, what would have happened to him.? we know, it was not convenience for him to take his only beloved son for sacrifices. If Abraham's belief did not see beyond Isaac, he would not have had the courage to obey God's instruction. You need to remember that our duty is to obey God instruction and his duty is to keep his promises.the way of obedience is the way of blessing.
The expression, " Here I am", means," i am ready"( Genesis 22:1)
If you were sent to dirty places, would you go? Abraham was ready to carry out not only pleasant instructions but also painful ones. Are you, however,ready to go to pleasant today? I mean a place of sacrifice. Today, people show less interest for things of the spirit, which cannot be quantify interns of position, money and physical reward. Placed in the same condition as Abraham you would likely say," you would want to know how much money, position or any other physical rewards you would gain after carrying out the instructions.
Listen to Abraham's: " Here I am; I am all yours. Your will is my command; I am committed to you, Lord. Whatever you ask me to do, I will do."
He was not saying he would be ready only to follow pleasant instruction; whatever pleasant or painful, he was ready.

PRAYER POINT

Ask God to fill your heart with his spirit of WORD, in Jesus name.
Say,"" O lord, I Am ready to do your All your will and to obey your words. Jesus, I want to be a doer of your words, in your holy name."
