Our God The Restorer
Jeremiah 33:6-7
"Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before".
The Lord Will Do Great Things!
When you open up your bible to Joel chapter 2 verse 21 notice how the scripture says "Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things". God is not only talking to the land but he is also talking to the components of the land, he is talking to what he created from the dust of the land, he is talking to men and woman. To you and me today. It goes on to say, "Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you". That means in the middle of your dessert, in the middle of that difficulty, in the middle of your circumstances, in the middle of all adversity, where there was no more hope or future there is a promise from God that he will restore. There are people reading this article right now that have been going through years of scarcity, mediocrity, hardships, loneliness, sickness. People that have been living in bondage. Bondage of addictions, depression, fear. This word from God is for you. God will restore all the years that the locust has eaten- what does that mean? All the time and energy you lost while in those circumstances. Friends, if you keep the right attitude seeking God in the midst of all your adversity, praising and glorifying him in the good times as well as the bad, God will be your vindicator, God will heal you, God will restore that marriage, that relationship you thought was lost. This is your year. This is the year you will see God's love, God's power, and God's mercy in your life like never before. God promised that he will restore everything you lost along the way. In Numbers chapter 23 verse 19-20 says, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?. Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it". Notice how he says that he cannot reverse it. In Isaiah chapter 55 verse 10-11 says, "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it". Keep believing, FAITH IS EVERYTHING. He knows how to bring you out of that situation and bring you out better than you were before. Don't try to figure it all out or don't try to figure him out. I assure you, you will become frustrated and discouraged. In Isaiah chapter 55 verse 8-9 we learn "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts". Sometimes God allow these adversities in our lives to take us to our divine purpose in life. The men and woman of God like you and me that have been going through this long process in life where its all been scarcity and one crisis after the other and you've been experiencing the silence of God, I'm here to tell you that those years are coming to an end. God sees you, God remembers you and the dreams his put in your heart. God has heard your prayers. If you stay in faith, God will restore the years of your life and give you exceedingly more than you ever imagined . Please never forget what Luke 1:37 teaches us: Nothing is impossible for God. There are no limits to what God can do in your life. Ephesians 3:20-21 says, "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen".
