Part 10 - Do Not Be Deceived – Disciple of Christ or christian?

As a disciple of Christ I have NO doctrines of my own or of any man other than the man Jesus, I follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ exclusively and His doctrines are mine because I am of one Spirit with Him. I reject ALL doctrines that are not HIS. because that is what He says to do and a real disciple of Christ does All He requires of him.

Now before we continue, I must warn you as does scripture. “DO NOT BE DECEIVED”

Do not believe ANYTHING ANYONE (including me) wants to teach you unless and until the Holy Spirit of the living God confirms it to you personally as TRUTH.

Jesus Christ said He would build and He is building HIS church. He is the chief cornerstone and anything that is not built upon Him is not of God. He said His church would be a building of living stones, built without hands and not of brick and mortar and wood and other inanimate objects, but people, living stones. Scripture is clear to those that are real disciples of Christ, they that are filled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God, which makes them one Spirit with God and ALL of His sons (male & Female).

1 Peter 2:4-6 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

The scripture are clear and full of warnings "do not be deceived" and explanation of those who will be the deceivers. We must understand who they are and what methods of deceit they will use if we do not want to be deceived.

To me this is one of the most IMPORTANT things that the word of God requires of me, “Do not be deceived”, note it is a command not a request. It is MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE THAT NO ONE DECEIVES ME. That tells me that I must apply another scripture to everything I look at that professes to be of God. That is “Test all things to see if they be of God”. Let's look at the scriptures that talk about these two things..

1 Thess 5:20-22 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

The Deceivers

Here I include a lot of scripture, some think too many, but it is important for you to understand the depth of the warning, the detail of who and how they will try to deceive you because not many realize the vast effects of not understanding the warning “do not be deceived”. You must understand their ways so that you are prepared to avoid being deceived.

Look at this first one. Many in the vast church system are teaching a man made doctrine that these people can be christians. They may be what the church system calls a christian but they cannot be Disciples of Christ according to the word of God, the scriptures. Do not be deceived by them.

The second one mentions “some do not have the knowledge of God”. What this mean some (many) called christians hang around with bad influences, but they are not filled with the Holy Spirit that is sent to lead us to all truth. Shame on them they are not disciples of Christ and have no protection.

1 Cor 6:9-11 Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Cor 15:33-34 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits." 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

Gal 6:7-10 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Then we see as we study about these deceivers that one of them is YOU, you can deceive yourself by following your desires instead of the Holy Spirit. We see that what we say and do will affect whether we are in a position to be deceived

Then we see some will TRY TO deceive us by their flattery, empty words to make us feel good, agreeing with us instead of confronting us when we are wrong, by using persuasive words (like do you really think God would not want you to enjoy this?). THEN IT SAYS “do not let them deceive you BY ANY MEANS”, you must be prepared for ways not mentioned to also be used against you.

Eph 5:6-8 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them. Walk in Light

Col 2:4-5 4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.

2 Thess 2:3 3 Let no one deceive you by any means;

Now we see why we are warned and how to protect ourselves from the deceivers. Here John is talking to those that ARE TRUE disciples of Christ and are filled with and FOLLOWING the Holy Spirit. They that are sons of God and are of one Spirit with God, Jesus, and all the other sons of God. Notice closely what is said, “ but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things”, the Holy Spirit IN YOU (that anointing) teaches you, not a man but the Spirit. Then we see that IT WILL NOT GET BETTER it will get WORSE as the end of this age approaches (the judgment)

1 John 2:26-27 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

2 Tim 3:13-14 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does

Now we come to the warnings, remember these are not my words they are God's words from the scriptures that I am just trying to help you understand. Most christians do not seem to be concerned and ALL professing to be CLERGY do not want you to understand these warnings because they destroy the validity of the church system of men. They are the proof that the church system of men where you must go to a building called by them (not scripture) “a church” to meet with clergy to get to God is a figment of the imaginations of apostate men (men void of the Spirit). Actually they have brought back a fake copy the church system of the previous age that Jesus did away with by His death and Resurrection, to give themselves position, power and the ability to steal God's money from those who are poor stewards of what is entrusted to them. They say they are mediators between man and God but they are liars like their father (satan) before them because there is ONLY ONE MAN that has that Role and usurpers are agents of satan.

1 Tim 2:5-6 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

God HATES DIVISION among His people. Jesus came to bring life, he also came to bring a sword to divide between the things of God and the things of satan, There is to be division caused by Christ and His disciples but NOT IN HIS PEOPLE, it is to separate His people from the world.

John 10:9-10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Matt 10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

The Dividers, Division Makers

There is NO division allowed in the true church of Jesus Christ. ALL the disciples of Christ (sons of God) are to be of one Spirit, they must all be filled with the Spirit of God, no other can be a part of His church. GOD HATES DIVISION among His people. Note that the first time the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the people they first had to be of one accord, of one Spirit. Also note that it was not couples with water baptism, it was a separate action. But it can happen either way as we see in Acts, and in either case the proof will be there.

Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Scripture tells us that those that cause division among God's people are to be avoided. That they are not serving Christ but their own bellies. That they deceive the simple ( those that do not heed the warnings) That they walk in their own lusts. That they deceive people with great flattering words to take advantage of them. That they are carnal natural man, against God and all He represents. That they do not and can not possess the Holy Spirit of the living God. They are anointed by man and not by God and the jesus and the holy spirit they possess and pass on to others is a satanic imposter as are they.

Here are two scriptures that are not understood or used correctly by the apostate (men without the Holy Spirit of the living God) men that the church system follows. The word of God is clear, GOD HATES DIVISION AMONG HIS PEOPLE.

YET THE CHURCH SYSTEM IS MADE UP OF OVER 40000 DIVISIONS, each proclaiming their devisive doctrines are of God yet none exclusively follow all the doctrines of Christ as commanded, it CANNOT be of God. And God will have no part in it. God does not go where there are doctrines other than those of Christ promoted ( unrighteousness). God will not be mocked.

Rom 16:17-19 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

Jude 16-19 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

2 John 9-11 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

Then Who Is a Real Disciple of Christ

Jesus made it clear how to and who will become disciples of Christ (and thus sons of God) and what one must do to be a real disciple. The word the church system of man uses to designate who they say are the disciples appears in scripture 3 times and NEVER is it mentioned in relation to becoming a disciple of Christ. Two times it is by heathens and the third time is credited to Peter but the translated word does not really say christians, it means follower of Christ which the scriptures say is a disciple of Christ. Christian is a name given to the followers of Christ by the world, not by Jesus the Lord of this age and the possessor of ALL AUTHORITY ON HEAVEN AND EARTH for THIS AGE. If you can see this in the Spirit not in the flesh, The word christian is the worldly expression of what THEY recognize to be a follower of Christ. It does not fit with what Christ declares. The church system has claimed the word christian as the name for their members that meet THEIR DESCRIPTION of a follower of Christ according to each of their different sets of doctrines. Each of the over 40,000 different church divisions (denominations and non denominations) that their system recognizes as “christian churches”. Anyone that disagrees with them is considered to be a heretical fool in their eyes. Of course they have an agreement not to criticize each other and are each free to have their own special doctrines and use the ones they desire from scripture as well. But when one of us that will not recognize their unethical, ungodly, satanic agreement not to disagree, speaks out against their doctrines of man, bringing scripture truth, they gather, circle their wagons and attack those horrible heretics that dare to bring scripture truth against them.

You that are members of a christian church ARE STEAMING AND ANGRY AT ME NOW. BUT I ask you to be angry and sin not. I ask you to take this information I am presenting, go to the scriptures with the help of the Holy Spirit and study. Lay down your beliefs, don't give them up, lay them aside as you search the scriptures with the aid of the Holy Spirit.

There are Real Servant Men that Are Anointed by the Holy Spirit, but They Will Not Be Found in The Church System

There are men in the true church of Jesus Christ anointed by God to be SERVANTS to the whole body, and scripture says we will know them by their fruit. Scripture is clear in Mk 16, these signs will follow those that believe, and if they are not following a man that wants to lead you, get away now , he is not of God. The servant ministers anointed by God and not by man will not ask ANYTHING from you but that you be faithful to Jesus Christ. He wont ask or expect to get your money, or time or honor, He will not allow you to reverence him, he will accept no title other than bondservant of Christ, or brother. He will lead you to and teach you to give your honor and affection to the Lord Jesus Christ and no other.

The Real Disciple of Christ

This following scripture is the words of Christ, explaining how and who can be a disciple of His, in other words how to become a real disciple of Christ and who is a real disciple of Christ. First we know from previous scriptures that everyone is familiar with that you must repent of your sins and be born again, but of course that is in included in “teach the all things I have commanded you”. Remember He also said that He gave us His example that we have it to follow.

So here He says to each individual, not to a pastor or a “church” building. To each individual person exactly what He requires of them if they desire to become a son of God.

First thing He says is GO to all nations, everyone. Not go sit on a bench and listen to a man tell you his understanding of God. The Holy Spirit in you is God going with you wherever you go, whenever you go, to whomever you go.

Second He says make disciples of HIM, not of another man, not of a church system, but the man Jesus Christ.

Third He says YOU baptize them in water and see they they are baptizedin the Holy Spirit of God ( no mention of take them to a building and have some clergy baptize and teach them) to make them of one Spirit with me and My father. YOU DO IT!

Fourth He says, then YOU TEACH them ALL I require of them. And we must not forget to warn them as Jesus warned us that the world will hate them for His sake, so they understand and are not confused when it happens to them.

Did you notice this, you must make disciples of Jesus Christ or you are NOT ONE.

He begins with giving His credentials authorizing Him to make these demands of Those that would be sons of God.

Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Here scripture explains that there is in this age of The rule of The Lord Jesus Christ only one man that can stand between you and God and there is no other way to approach God but through Jesus Christ. The clergy was part of the Law of Moses and was actually a punishment because they rejected God and wanted man to be their head. It was done away at the crucifiction when the veil to the Holy of Holies was rent in two. Jesus Christ is the only Head of any man, no other man can impart eternal life what most call salvation. Only a disciple of Christ can make disciples of Christ because they bring them to Jesus not to another man or a “church”. After they have learned to hear and follow the Holy Spirit the only source given to man to lead him to ALL TRUTH, they then GO and do the same.

1 Cor 11:2-3 Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Mark 16:15- Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

You that have read this and have arrived here might want to check my article “Truths About True Disciples of Christ that Everyone Should Understand “, where I show the total failure of the church system of men and how if the command of Christ was properly (correctly) applied It would take only eight (8) man ( male and or female) following Christ's instruction and only making One (1) disciple of Christ each YEAR for only 30 years (that each did the same, one per year) of his alloted 70 years on earth to reach the entire current 7.7 billion people on the earth today.

Or 460 man making one disciple a month and each doing the same could do the job in less than 2 years.

Yet the system of men anointing men that says it is the “church” has been at it for almost 2000 years and has not even reached half of them. Something must change. Do you suppose maybe doing it HIS way will work better than the ways of apostate men. I believe it will!

Summary and Conclusion

Though the use of the word Christian was originally aimed at the disciples of Christ, the unauthorized (by God) church system of man has corrupted the meaning of the word to the point that today it actually means a member of one of the churches of man, a disciple of man, and no longer means a disciple of Jesus Christ. Disciples of man cannot be real disciples of Christ because they do not follow the doctrines of Christ exclusively as HE requires. Church members follow the doctrines of one of the 40000 plus divisions of the church system. No part of the church system follows Christ exclusively as He commands, that is why they divided, to satisfy their desire for other doctrines that please them.

The only man authorized by God to make disciples of Christ is Jesus Christ and He extends that authority to His disciples who bring man to Him and together with the Holy Spirit they make disciples of Christ.

No other man or means of becoming sons of God is authorized by God.

Those that become real disciples of Christ then do ALL Christ the Lord of this age requires of them and endure to the end of the age (the judgment) are sons of God and inherit the earth and the new earth. All others will be destroyed in the lake of Fire, thereby removing All unrighteousness from the earth for the second and final time. (as it was in the days of Noah).

Being a disciple of Christ is not a two or three hour a week commitment. It requires a lifetime commitment and a change in lifestyle. When it says all things become new, YOU must see that they do.

Do Not Be Deceived my beloved brethren.
