Part - 11- Do Not be Deceived - The Serpent's Spoil

Snakes in the assembly.

Remember the issue that Moses had with the snakes Among the people? If not read about it starting in Numbers 21:4. The same problem is among the assembly today, there are snakes killing people in the assembly. And it is for the same reason, rebellion against God. The problem is not rebellion against the leaders from God but because the assembly has neglected the warnings in scripture that tell them "do not be deceived." The warnings are clear, they explain who the deceivers are and how they will deceive you.

Please Read this Before we Begin. Scripture requires each individual to “Do not be Deceived”. So I caution you the remember to not believe what I or any Other man try to teach you until and unless it has been confirmed to you PERSONALLY by scripture and the Holy Spirit of God as TRUTH.

Do Not be Deceived

I have used a lot of scripture here but you must read them and understand the importance of this command. It is NOT a suggestion it is a COMMAND that YOU do NOT allow yourself to be at deceived. It is the responsibility of EVERY individual who claims to be of Christ to be sure they are NOT Deceived in ANY of their beliefs Your eternal destination depends on it.

Luke 21:8-9 And He said: "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore^* do not go after them. ⁹ But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately."

2 Tim 3:12-14 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. ¹³ But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. ¹⁴ But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

James 1:16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ²³ For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; ²⁴ for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. ²⁵ But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Matt 24:10-14 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. ¹² And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. ¹³ But he who endures to the end shall be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matt 24:23-28 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it. ²⁴ For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. ²⁵ See, I have told you beforehand.

²⁶ "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. ²⁷ For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. ²⁸ For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Mark 13:21-23 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'Look, He is there!' do not believe it. ²² For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. ²³ But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.

1 Cor 3:18-23 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. ¹⁹For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness";^*20and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."^*21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: ²²whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come — all are yours. ²³And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

Eph 5:1-7 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. ²And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

³But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; ⁴neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. ⁵For this you know,^*that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. ⁶Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. ⁷Therefore do not be partakers with them.

Col 2:4-5 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. ⁵

1 John 2:26-29 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. ²⁷But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will^*abide in Him. ²⁸And now, little children, abide in Him, that when^*He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. ²⁹If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Titus 1:10-16 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, ¹¹whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. ¹²One of them, a prophet of their own, said, "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons." ¹³This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, ¹⁴not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. ¹⁵To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. ¹⁶They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

2 John 7-11 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. ⁸Look to yourselves, that we^*do not lose those things we worked for, but that we^*may receive a full reward.

⁹Whoever transgresses^*and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. ¹⁰If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; ¹¹for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

2 Cor 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. ¹⁴And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. ¹⁵Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

How are they killing people?   They are keeping them from receiving eternal life by their use of man made false doctrines instead of  teaching  and supporting ONLY the doctrines of Christ and ALL of them as Jesus Told us to do.
Do you understand who they are?   They are MAN that "have not the Spirit".   Man that are not filled with and LED BY the Holy Spirit of the living God.   Carnal man.    Notice that they are excellent speakers, charismatic personalities, speaking to please those that will listen to them and let themselves be convinced to accept their beliefs as gospel, because they do not heed the scripture admonition to test all things to see it they be of God.  Scripture calls those that listen to and heed them “simple”..   Yes there are some that are snakes and do these things, but there is greater threat in the assembly today than those few snakes that wander in from time to time.

The scriptures are clear to those that believe Jesus and are filled with and controlled with the Holy Spirit of God.   The root of the problem is man that are not filled with the Holy Spirit of the living God. Man that may be filled with a holy spirit, a false holy spirit that is companion to a false jesus christ that they follow, two of those that  the real Jesus warned us would come..   The father of that false holy spirit  and false Jesus is  none other than that old adversary who is a liar and deceiver from the beginning, the serpent of old, Satan.    The reason this problem exists is because those in the assembly are ignoring the scripture warnings and are actually following man that are following man  and all the man being followed  are following Satan so those following man are deceived into following satan.while being told and believing they are following Christ.   And of course because these man have rejected God, He has sent them a strong delusion so they can only believe the lies of apostate man.
The vast majority of people in the assembly are not born again, they have accepted the doctrines of man and are following apostate man who cannot give them the eternal life that they have been told is now theirs.   Did you ever wonder why there is so much sin in the assemblies?    If all those professing to be of Christ we're of Christ, they would be filled with the Holy Spirit of God and not be able to continue is a life of sin.   But the false holy spirit that they are following is leading them to be like the father of the man they follow, Satan.   They are deceived.     Why,?     Because they did not have a love for the truth at any cost, they believed man and did not check what they were being taught against scripture, asking for God to show them truth by His Holy Spirit, they just accepted that these men anointed by man are who they claimed to be.
 
Those few (very few) that do follow scripture and "test all things to see if they are of God" will not be deceived if they are filled with the Holy Spirit of God.  It becomes a viscious circle for those filled with a false holy spirit because their spirit will agree with the false doctrines and lead you to do the same.    If you find your self in that place the you must follow scripture because the Holy Spirit of God will  NEVER disagree with scripture.
