Part 12 – Do Not Be Deceived – God of This Age is Christ
Part 12 – Do Not Be Deceived – God of This Age is Christ But He is Not God
Please Read this Before we Begin. Scripture requires each individual to “Do not be Deceived”. So I caution you the remember to not believe what I or any Other man try to teach you until and unless it is confirmed to you PERSONALLY by scripture and the Holy Spirit of God as TRUTH.
The writer will answer for what he writes but only YOU will answer for what YOU believe.
No, Jesus IS NOT GOD, THE CREATOR, nor was He present at creation as apostate men teach, he was born as are all man through the womb of a woman about 2000 years ago and currently He is God's delegated authority on earth for this age. He has been given ALL AUTHORITY of God on heaven and earth by God, only for this age of man, the final age before the judgment and the end of mankind.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. 19 Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world.
From the above scripture it is clear Jesus is God's delegated authority on the earth for this age. Which if you understand delegation of authority, means in effect He is acting for God for this age, until his period of delegated authority ends.
I give you the example of the Presidency of the USA. The presidency of the USA belongs to the country and its citizens but it is delegated to one man for 4 years at each election. That man is the President for 4 years and all the authority of the Presidency is his during that time period. He does not own the presidency, he is the acting President for 4 years, at the end of which he is no longer President, he is a past president and has NO Presidential power.
The same scripture shows that Jesus' delegated authority ends at the judgment when He returns all Authority to God and sits down in submission to God for eternity with all the other sons. Yes, as the firstborn son of God, He has a the firstborn son' s special place with the Father but He is NOT God nor does He have any of the authority of God beyond that ALL sons of God will possess, God at that point is all in all for eternity. This age ends at the Judgment which is the end of this world. At the judgment mankind and time as we know them are ended,
1 Cor 15:23-28 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
Correct Understanding of the Scriptures used incorrectly by teachers of false doctrine of Eternal Torment
Luke 16:27-31 27"Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' 29Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' 30And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' 31But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"
The above scripture takes place in hades or better known as hell, the place of the departed dead waiting for the judgment day. There are evidently two parts to it separated by a grand chasm, one side for satan's people and the other for those of God. This is dead people, Read the whole chapter.
Rev 9:4-6 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
This scripture also takes place before the judgment but this is not in hades but on the earth, living people here.
Rev 14:9-13 9Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he himself shall aso drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the preslence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
12Here is the patience of the saints; here are those*who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,*"Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'"
"Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."
This also takes place before the judgment, on earth. It does not last forever as it is translated in most bibles. The word translated as “forever and ever “actually says “for ever ever “ which designates until the end of an age which in this case will be at judgment.
NT:165 ai)w/n aion (ahee-ohn'); from the same as NT:104; properly, an age; by extension, perpetuity (also past); by implication, the world; specially (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):
Rev 20:13-15 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.*15And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
At the Judgment of God where the Wrath of God is poured out
All that have ever lived will be resurrected to face the judgment of God through the record in the books of works and the names in the lamb's book of Life Those that have become of God in prior ages and the “sons of God through Christ” in this age that have endured to the end, have their names written in the book and will inherit the earth. Those that have rejected Christ in this final age that we are living in and those that rejected God in prior ages will be cast into the lake of fire for destruction. Scripture clearly states that these will be destroyed by the fire. Many are confused by the false teaching that they are tortured forever which they are not, but they are tortured in hell until the judgment. Scripture says satan and his demons are to be tortured for eternity but says man are destroyed in the fire. (thus the earth is cleansed by fire as it was cleansed in the day of Noah by water.) The same men teach another false doctrine, that the earth will be destroyed by fire, scripture does not say that. Scripture simply says the former earth has passed away and the new heaven and earth comes down from God.
Rev 20:15And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Rev 20:10 And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Lake of Fire.
This takes place at judgment, The only ones cast into the lake of fire to be tormented forever ever are those specifically mentioned all the rest cast into the lake of fire are burned to ash, destroyed. They are not humans, but spirits and fire does not destroy them.
The Lake of Fire is Second Death-Destruction.
Matt 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Luke 13:23-25 And He said to them, 24 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is. 2 And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away. 5 And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. 6 And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son. 8 But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
