Part 13 – Do Not Be Deceived - Another Look at The Judgment -The Pouring out of God's Wrath

The Great white throne judgment as it is commonly called is the record of the pouring out of the wrath of God to destroy all trace of evil in the earth and promoting the sons of God to inherit the earth and the new earth and the inhabitants of the eternal kingdom of God to live eternally with God in His kingdom as foretold in scripture.

Please Read this Before we Begin. Scripture requires each individual to “Do not be Deceived”. So I caution you to remember to not believe what I or any Other man try to teach you until and unless it is confirmed to you PERSONALLY by scripture and the Holy Spirit of God as TRUTH.

The writer will answer for what he writes but only YOU will answer for what YOU believe.

The Lamb's Book of Life

Let's stop and look at the Lamb's book of life before we go on. Understanding this book and it's purpose is one of the most important things that a real disciple of Christ must understand.

What is the book? This is a book belonging to Jesus Christ to be used by Him during his rule on earth in this age, in which He writes the name of each person that becomes His disciple according to the rules He has set down. This book will be used by God to judge those that have endured to the end and will go into the eternal kingdom of God from this age. No one but Jesus can write names in this book. Even God cannot write names in this book.

Those that received redemption in an earlier age will be judged by the other books that are opened. The Lamb's book of life is for this age only as this is the only age of Christ as the delegated authority of God,.

The following are the only scriptures about the Lamb's book of life. It appears only during our age-- during the rule of Christ, the new testament age. And determines who from THIS AGE will inherit the earth and the eternal kingdom of God. If you live in this age and your name is not found in this book you will be cast into the lake of fire to your destruction at the judgment.

We will now look at each of these scriptures and see what they really say to us. There are many different things being taught about them, but what does the Spirit of God say through them is what we need to know. The opinion of man, me and all other man are of NO ETERNAL value, what the Holy Spirit is saying means everything.

Phil 4:3

And^*I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

This scripture is simply confirming that those who have committed to Christ and follow Him (become His disciples) have their names written in His book which assures their entry into the eternl kingdom -IF they endure to the end.

Matt 24:9-13

⁹"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. ¹⁰And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. ¹¹Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. ¹²And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. ¹³But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13:13

¹³And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

This verse says that those that have rejected Him (Christ) will worship Him because ot the amazin things they see but it will be too late because the book has been closed.

Rev 20:12-15

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,^*and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. ¹³The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.^*15And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

This verse is speaking about the actual judgment. Where the dead are brought to life and are being judged by God. This is at the place and time where your eternal destiny is settled. You will either enter the eternal kingdom of God or be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed,

There are other books opened along with the book of Life.. These are the books of the works by which those from other ages will be judged. Those whose names were written in the Lamb's book of life and are still there, which says they endured to the end, are allowed into the eternal kingdom of God, their salvation has been assured by Jesus. Those whose names are not found in the book on this day are cast into the lake of fire and destroyed, that is why this is called the second death. It is eternal death, they are gone forever. But those sent on to inherit the eternal kindom of God will be transformed from a temporary human life and death to become eternal spirit beings.

Rev 21:10-27

0 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy^*Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, ¹¹having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. ¹²Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: ¹³three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

¹⁴Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names^*of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ¹⁵And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. ¹⁶The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. ¹⁷Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. ¹⁸The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. ¹⁹The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, ²⁰the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. ²¹The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. ²²But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. ²³The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,^*for the glory^*of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. ²⁴And the nations of those who are saved^*shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.^*25Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). ²⁶And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.^*27But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes^*an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Rev 22:19

19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away^*his part from the Book^*of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Rev 13:8

8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

These two veses say that if anyone takes away anything from this book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, (the importance and place of Christ in this time), they will lose their place in the book. They will be cast into the lake of fire for destruction.

Notice these things about the day of judgment--

Each person stands alone and is judged by their WORKS. WHY is each person judged alone since it is to be as it was in the days of Noah?

Think about this, it is as it was in the time of Noah in that all that reject Jesus as in their day they rejected God Himself, are destroyed.

The number saved will be a small percentage of all the people on the earth.

Those that have walked in their own way will not get another chance, it is done-finished.

But in the time of Noah God did something that very few people realize or understand. I have never seen or heard anyone mention this scripture warning that was contained in the time of Noah nor did I notice it myself until the Holy Spirit spoke it to me recently. And it is a powerful warning that shows us that the natural tendencies of man cannot be trusted. Which of course confirms other more recent warnings found in the new testament.

Those saved in the day of Noah

This would be a good time to read the story of Noah in Genesis 6 to refresh your memory of it. The parts we need to examine are here:

Gen 6:13-7:2

¹³And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.¹⁴Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. ¹⁵And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. ¹⁶You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. ¹⁷And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. ¹⁸But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark — you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you. ¹⁹And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. ²⁰Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive. ²¹And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them."

²²Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.7 Then the Lord said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. ²

First we see that God has found only one righteous man on the earth. But one was all He needed because of His great love for man.

Notice that God's covenant was with Noah ONLY. And that He allowed him to bring his whole family, his wife, three sons and their wives, 8 people in all were saved in the flood out of many thousands and probably there were even millions .

Since God was going to destroy all living things on the earth He would need a man and a woman as this is the only way humans can be made since God finished the creation.

We see He was to select breeding pairs of each animal and bird. So God had provided Noah with all he needed to reestablish life on the earth when the flood was past.

The warning

BUT, here is what most of us missed, that is actually here as a warning to those that have an eye to see and an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying,---------

ONLY Noah was without sin. His wife, sons and the wives of his sons were NOT without sin. God re-established man on the earth but still allowed the sinful nature of man back onto the earth, Why would God do this when He just destroyed all living things on the earth because of their unrighteosness?

Well it was for the same reason He explained to Noah in such detail the reason for His destroying every living thing on the earth, IT IS A WARNING TO US THAT WOULD BE BORN AS A RESULT OF THIS RE-ESTABLISHMENT, A warning of what would happen at the end of time to those that would not submit to Him and later Christ, to be sure to be as was Noah. Without sin. When we hear about Jesus and being born again. When we understand that we are unrighteous and that as such we have no part in the eternal kingdom of God. We are to avail ourselves of the cleansing that God has prepared for us. That we will quickly accept that which Christ offers us, under His terms, so that we can become sons of God and become eternal beings when this temporary life is ended at the judgment.

What did Jesus offer us

According to Jesus he came that we may have eternal life,

John 10:7 I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

He also died and defeated death by resurrecting Himself, that by defeating death amd as the conquerer he now owns death and life. He is not God, but was appointed to act as God during this age by being delegated all of the power and authority of God until He returns it to God at the judgment.

Matt 28:16-20

¹⁶Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. ¹⁷When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

¹⁸And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹Go therefore^*and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

1 Cor 15:22-28

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. ²³But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. ²⁴Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. ²⁶The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. ²⁷For "He has put all things under His feet."^*But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. ²⁸Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

One of the things He says he does with His authority is to remit, remove the record, of all repented and forgiven sins from the books of the records of the acts of man so that we can stand before God at the judgment as pure and sinless. This confirms that our name is correctky placed in His book of life. This assures God that when He lets us enter the eternal kingdom we are not bringing any sin with us because NO SIN will be allowed to enter there EVER.

Can you see why no real disciple of Christ can be deceived unless they follow man? If one is a real disciple of Christ then that means they are filled wiith and following the Holy Spirit of God according the requirements of Christ. The Holy Spirit of God is the only place that all the knowledge of God is available, and since it is God, the creator's Spirit it will always show us truth. When we follow it we can not sin. When we follow man, ourself or any other man we WILL sin and be separated from God.

There is certainly nothing wrong in desiring to understand all of “the book of the revelation of Jesus Christ.” But it is impossible to understand it correctly, unless the Holy Spirit of God reveals the truths to you. Most of what man teach about it is not correct. In fact many man that do not even uderstand it's purpose profess to teach it. Many call it “the book of revelations”, which is not the purpose of the book. The very first line in the book states

Rev 1:1

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants — things which must shortly take place.

The purpose of this book is to show who Jesus Christ is, His authority and role in the end of mankind. Yes it does reveal things that are to take place, but that is NOT the purpose of this book

We truly have no excuse for missing the eternal kingdom of God, the scriptures warn us the consequences of rejecting God through Christ at every turn. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in ALL you do and you CANNOT MISS BECOMING A SON OF GOD.
