Part 3 – Do Not Be Deceived – Noah

Continuing with our theme of Do not be deceived, we will now look at Some things that occurred after the beginning in the Garden that it is essential to correctly understand. There are many things to look at in Genesis and Exodus that are very Important to us. We will look at the most important ones first then go back to some of the lesser but still important ones . In this series we will not look at the law of Moses as it is does not apply to the age we live in.

In this study we are going to see the important issues we need to understand in order to understand the end time word “as it was in the days of Noah”.

As It Was In The Days of Noah

Matt 24:36-43 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

This scripture is one of the most abused of all scriptures by the false doctrines of man. It is the only scripture that you will constantly see blatantly presented with a supposed meaning that is totally contrary to what it actually says even though a 6 year old can see their interpretation is wrong, unbelievably millions of gullible christians believe the false interpretation. This clearly shows that what is called christianity is full of people that do not understand the importance of, believe in or follow the scriptural admonition to “do not be deceived”. Why? How can so many be so deceived when we are given this warning in scripture?

2 Tim 3:12-14 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of,

2 Tim 3:2-9 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

First let me explain. Anyone who has attended a meeting at a “church” system building or listed to a member of “clergy” is familiar with, as are most people whether christian or not, the doctrine that is called the rapture of the saints. That doctrine that “churches” and their “clergy” teach, is believed by millions in spite of the fact that very verses used to support it say exactly the opposite of what they say they do. It is a lie from satan, propagated by apostate (evil) men. This is the reason for this series, to show why it is so important to do All that is required of us by our Lord Jesus. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to not be deceived, only YOU can keep You from being deceived. There are many false doctrines that we will expose and show why they are not of God. But this is the easiest one to refute because it is based on an interpretation that even a 6 year old can see is wrong. That is part of the reason we are looking at it now. God desires that all men come to a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that is only available to true disciples of Christ. It is ONLY available to those who guard themselves and DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO DECEIVE THEM. Today being a christian DOES NOT EQUATE to being a disciple of Christ. And only disciples of Christ are the sons of God and only they will inhabit the eternal kingdom of God. You are free to do as you wish and believe what you wish but if what you believe IS NOT WHAT GOD SAYS IS TRUTH, you believe in vain.

Now we look at the scripture and see what is truth. “As it was in the days of Noah.” How can anyone misunderstand this. How can it mean anything but that the days of the son of man will be JUST LIKE THE DAYS OF NOAH?

They were just going on with their lives, not knowing or caring what God was doing in their midst. And they did not realize until it was too late , when they were being taken away, downing with no way of salvation, what was going on. Just as it will be in the day of the Lord.

Matt 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

All The Unrighteous Are Removed

“ so also will the coming of the Son of Man be”. Its going to be just like that but with a few differences. First, God promised never again to cleanse the earth of unrighteousness by a flood, this time He will use the lake of Fire to destroy all the unrighteous. In Noah's time God gave man another chance to get it right, this time there will not be any more chances, either you get it right or you will be destroyed. Noah inherited this earth, this time the sons of God inherit a new earth. In Noah's time God moved from earth to heaven where He has lived and will live until after the judgment. After the judgment and at the arrival of the new heaven and earth God will move His throne to earth and once again and forever live among and with His sons on the earth.

“Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.” This is TRUE but in the opposite way from which the disciples of men teach it. The ones taken will be the unrighteous, JUST LIKE WAS DONE IN THE DAYS OF NOAH.

“ Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming”. This is neglected, overlooked, mistaught, and considered useless by most but is the most important part of correctly understanding what will happen. Here is why.

The Reason the False Rapture Doctrine is so Dangerous

Those that believe in the false rapture doctrine have been lulled to sleep by their teachers. They believe that God will take them off the earth before the end. So they believe they do not need to worry about the times and seasons and what and who will take place. Of course they also believe many or all the other false doctrines that the men they are following have taught them, because they have not heeded the scripture admonition to see that they are not deceived. So most believe that if they believe Jesus is of God, or if they have believed and been baptized in water, or many other variations of partial truth that when the time of the end comes they will get a star wars type transport into heaven. When in fact Jesus, the Lord of this age in whom ALL AUTHORITY ON HEAVEN AND EARTH RESIDES UNTIL THE JUDGMENT says NONE OF THIS IS TRUE.

No one goes to heaven, the sons of God inherit the earth (and the new earth) and God leaves heaven and bring His throne to join His sons on the new earth. And Jesus says ALL THE DOCTRINES OF MAN mean nothing to Him. They cannot make disciples of Christ, they only make disciples of men, men that are actually working for satan, leading the people AWAY FROM THE DOCTRINES OF GOD, through the wide easy to find gate and along the comfortable easy path that leads to DESTRUCTION, the reward for following men and not following All that Christ requires. ALL because they neglect the warnings, “DO NOT BE DECEIVED”. All because they chose the easy path instead of seeking the hard to find gate and walking on the DIFFICULT path that few will find.

Here is what Jesus says to us

Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Jesus, the firstborn of many (Spiritual sons) says to be a son of God, we must do ALL He requires of us. He clearly shows that in order to be His disciple (the only way to become a son) we must do All, not one part or two parts but ALL of what He has taught us. Then the things the “churches of men” cannot do, He says will show whether or not we are His disciples (disciples of Christ) or disciples of men (christians). Which are you? Only disciples of Christ will enter the eternal kingdom of God.

You have the right to believe and to do whatever you desire but if you do not believe and do ALL that Christ desires of you YOU HAVE NO right to enter the kingdom of God.

Proof That God Will Not Remove His People From the Earth in Time of Trouble.

God has never and will never take His people out of times of trouble, He ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL deliver them through it.

Noah

Noah, God instructed Noah to build a big boat, gave him explicit instructions on how. Suppose Noah decided He knew better than God and made shortcuts, like maybe he decided that since God would protect him that no pitch was needed to waterproof the boat. That boat could not last 40 days and nights of storm and rain without pitch to keep it dry, not with the load on it and no provision to bale out the water, He and all with him were only saved because as scripture relates, NOAH DID ALL THAT GOD REQUIRED OF HIM.

Gen 6:22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

Do you really believe it will be different for you if you take the shortcuts, follow the doctrines of men, Instead of doing ALL that Christ requires of you?

Goshen

God was going to kill all the firstborn (considered special) in the Land. He did not want harm to come to His people so he gave them explicit instruction on how to protect their first born.

See Exodus 11. the only time that all of Israel did all that the Lord commanded them. And by so doing all first born in the land died but there was not one death in Goshen.

Ex 12:28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.

Meshack, Shadrach and Abed-Nego

These three young men were under penalty of death and could be released from the penalty by forsaking (denouncing their loyalty to) God. They refused and were put into a huge fire, when they were seen still alive in it the fire was increased in intensity, increased so much that the men tending the fire were destroyed, but God protected them and they came out of the fire with their clothes unharmed and nit even the smell of smoke on them. Why?

Dan 3:16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Then there is Lot for whom God withheld His judgment on Sodom and Gamorrah until He was safely far away from the cities.

And there are many more instance of God's deliverance but in not one case Has He EVER removed them from the earth. His people inherit the earth, how can they do that if they are not here?

Ps 25:13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.

Ps 37:9-10 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;

Ps 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Ps 37:22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

Matt 5:5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
