Part 6 – Do Not Be Deceived - Many Will Come in MY Name

Scripture has many warning Commands – Do not be deceived. We need to look at them AND HEED THEM. God never commands us without an explanation that is sufficient to teach us how to fulfill the command.

The very first command God made to man was in the garden. He had created man and given him Everything in the world except the fruit of one tree. His command was clear, how to fulfill it and the result he would reap is he disobeyed, what more could be asked for?

Gen 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

The man ate the fruit of the tree and he died But the other consequence was that we also must die. In order for Adam to die he had to be reprogrammed to die, he was, before disobeying God, an eternal being. Since he was the father of ALL MEN that means all men must die also because the death gene is found in all man. But as we know God had prepared a way that in due time would allow all the opportunity to redeem their heritage of eternal life that Adam had so recklessly thrown away by his disobedience to God by following his wife. Because he followed his wife, God also cursed the ground that it no longer freely met his needs, now he would have to make the earth produce.

The scriptures we need to examine to see who they are that come in His Name

There are Many scriptures on this subject and we will look at most of them below. . When we finish this study you will be equipped to Understand who these people are, how they will try to deceive you and what you should do to “Do Not Be Deceived”. Remember this is NOT A SUGGESTION, this is a direct COMMAND TO YOU.

Luke 21:8 And He said: "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.

Matt 24:4-5 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

Some will actually claim to be Christ. DO NOT go after them. Do not listen to them or follow. When the real Jesus returns, everyone will see Him, not a just certain person or group, you will not be able to miss his arrival.

1 Cor 15:33-34 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits." 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

Evil people will befriend you and try to get you to follow them. Do not follow them. If you follow them YOU will sin.

Gal 6:7-9 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

You can lead yourself astray, do only(sow) things approved by Christ, do not follow your fleshly desires. You must Crucify your flesh that tries to lead you astray.

2 Tim 3:12-14 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

Evil men and impostors (those claiming to be something they are not or claiming to be able to do something for you that no man (other than Christ can do), They are deceiving and being deceived because they follow their fleshly desires and have not a love for the truth. They claim the Holy Spirit but their fruit decries their lack. They have forsaken God and God has sent them a strong delusion so they believe the lies they teach. Because they have forsaken God they now serve satan. Get away from them, do not have anything to do with them.

Titus 3:2-8 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

We must recognize that they are deceived because they act like we did before we were redeemed. We are not to join them but to continue doing what is right and good as an example to all. Do not join them.

James 1:12-17 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

We will all face temptation and must learn to recognize it. Then we must not succumb to temptation but withstand it. Otherwise we will be deceived and lose our crown of life (eternal life). We will die the 2^nd death, if we let temptation win. Then we will go into the lake of fire-destruction , not life.

Matt 24:11-13 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Many false prophets, they may claim to be prophets or just be telling things that are contrary to scripture, that is why you must know and understand scripture to be able check them against scripture to see if they be of God. People will be so lawless (evil) that you CANNOT TRUST ANYONE. That time is now, today. But those and only those that hang onto the coattails of Jesus alone WILL be saved, will inherit eternal life and live on the new earth with God and all His sons forever.

Matt 24:23-28 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Mark 13:21-23 21 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'Look, He is there!' do not believe it. 22 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.

This is a very important one that you need to fully understand. Yes it means if they say Jesus is here or there but it also has a more subtle meaning. Many people go here and there to hear from the Lord, but scripture tells us we who are disciples of Christ must be filled with the Spirit of God and do not need to go anywhere, HE is with us wherever we are, always. Many thousands of these seekers get deceived because of the signs and wonders that occur when these false prophets draw the crowds to them. Signs and wonders are a daily normal to the real disciples of Christ (these signs will follow those that believe)and if you have to go to find them they are usually brought by the false prophets that parade them about like a circus act. A good example is the Toronto experience and the Brownsville movement and other similar side shows in the name of jesus, not Jesus, but jesus a false one, works through men under the influence of satan, not Christ.. Do not go LOOKING FOR HIM, HE is WITH YOU if you are His disciple and if you are not and want Him to be He will come to you just ask Him. His command to His disciples is not bring them to me, it is GO and Make Disciples. Notice He also says “pay attention I have warned you in advance”.

Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

This is where I will lose those of you that have not a love for the truth at any cost, that have a sacred cow that they cannot butcher for Christ and eternal life, that believe men and not God who says that the hearts of men are wicked.

Notice this one closely, this is the one that most people are very careful to neglect BUT it is the most important warning of ALL Note those that cause DIVISION. God hates Division among His people. Where there is division, God will not Go. Do you understand what I just said, where there is division in the name of Christ, God will not go and neither will Jesus because He has the same Spirit as God. True disciples of Christ will not go there either. The doctrine of Christ does not allow ANY KIND OF DIVISION among HIS people. Those that bring division have not the Spirit of God. They are the primary ones that we are told to avoid because they come in the name of Jesus to DECEIVE us. They say and have convinced millions that they are God's agents on the earth. BUT GOD SAYS He has only one agent on the earth. The only man That represents God on this earth is JESUS CHRIST, any other is a liar and has come to lie steal and destroy what belongs to Christ.

1 Tim 2:5-6 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

Jesus has anointed only one group to go and bring Him to others. He has not anointed anyone to bring or cause people to come to them to get to Him, He only has anointed His disciples, those that are Truly His disciples, those that do ALL He Requires of them to introduce Him to people during this age. Only they are equipped to teach ALL that He requires of His disciples. They have no false doctrine that all other men possess. They are nor anointed to make the new disciples anywhere and everywhere, they are anointed to go to them, teach them to repent , teach them ALL THE REQUIREMENTS of being a disciple of Christ, baptize them in water(you are to baptize them not take them to someone), See that they are baptized in the Holy Spirit to become of one Spirit with God, Jesus and all the other sons of God. Then they must also GO and MAKE Disciples of Christ. Note you are to GO and make disciples of Christ, and train them to do the same. You are not to go sit in a pew and listen to a man tell you his version of what scriptures mean, it is the job of the Holy Spirit to teach you God's version of scripture, that is why Jesus requires that you be possessed of the Holy Spirit. There is no other source of ALL TRUTH. Men cannot be trusted to teach All truth.

If they do not GO and MAKE more disciples of Christ they are not sons of God. His disciples are given this charge as individuals. That is why it says in Ephesians that the mature saints are to do the work of the ministry. The work of the ministry is making disciples for Christ and NOTHING ELSE. Mature means they are disciples of Christ and only of Christ. ONLY disciples of Christ can make disciples of Christ, all others make disciples of satan, no matter what they claim

Rom 16:17-19 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who c.ause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

Look closely here correctly understanding this could mean the difference of you ending up in the eternal kingdom of God or being destroyed in the lake of fire at the judgment. Who brings all the division among His people? Think about it. Have you ever wondered why you never hear a sermon in this subject, telling you not to believe any man unless the message is confirmed by the Holy Spirit? This is why. The church system and clergy of the day, the same people that killed Jesus are killing God's people today. This time though it is ALL the work of man without any influence from God. Jesus fulfilled the law and ended the age of man rule and the temple and clergy. He brought a new age. A TOTALLY NEW AGE, NOTHING FROM THE PAST, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW IN CHRIST. There is no clergy, there is no building called a church (temple). There is one man that defeated death and owns it. He is the only man that can give eternal life and He says that His building is made without hands, is made of LIVING STONES, the scriptures tell us Jesus is the chief cornerstone, the most important part of the building, all the rest of the building is built on and around Him. If Jesus is the chief cornerstone you must build a NEW BUILDING because you cannot replace the chief cornerstone without removing All of the old one. He told us the name of the stones in this New building, it is the disciples of Christ. But men tell us that their buildings made by the hands of men with stone and mortar and metal and wood, dead inanimate things, are Jesus church.. They also tell us that their clergy, educated in all the divisive doctrines of men, that are void of the Spirit of God, anointed by other apostate men that hold to their same doctrines of apostate men instead of all accepting the DOCTRINE OF GOD, are God's representatives. They have deceived and are still deceiving you. Why do you let them? Here is the proof.

2 Cor 11:12-15 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

1 John 2:26-27 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

That anointing that abides in you is the Holy Spirit of the living God that possesses every disciple of Christ.. That will show you all truth if you will ask and listen.

1 Cor 3:20-23 and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile." 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come — all are yours. 23 And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

The church system of the word with its' 45,000 plus DIVISIONS is an invention of man and belongs to the god of the apostate men that have built it, his name is satan. They boast of the men who taught them false doctrines, like Darby, Schoffield, Hagan, Copeland, and all their other mentors that follow satan instead of Christ. It revolves around man, money and the flesh. The kingdom of God is all about Jesus Christ the man that died for you so you would have the opportunity to regain your heritage that Adam gave away by his disobedience, listening to the voice of his wife instead of the voice of God. Eternal life.

No other man can restore to you what Adam lost, Jesus Christ alone owns the keys to life and death. And No other man can write your name in the book. The Lamb's book of life , the list of those who Jesus has given eternal life to once again making them sons of God. It is all up to you now, if you have looked at this article you are now responsible to God for the truths in it.

You are now obligated to go to scripture with the aid of the only God sent teacher, the possessor of all truth and test to see if it be of God, if it is then you must follow it if not, then discard it, But what ever you do get your answer from the Holy Spirit of God, NOT FROM me or ANY other MAN.

Eph 5:2-7 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. 3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

John 3:7-8 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Gal 6:3-5 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.

Do you see it? No big deal, satan and his people (men without the Spirit of God) can transform THEMSELVES into whatever they wish to easily deceive those that do not apply these two scriptural command to every area of their lives. These are they that are called the simple ones, easily deceived.

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Remember BOTH THE DECEIVER and the DECEIVED will hear these words at the Great white throne JUDGMENT.

Matt 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

The Key to Everything in Christ

One of the things that makes the church system and clergy so evil is they all have their own incomplete list of requirements for salvation (their name for obtaining eternal life) that sound good because they include some of the requirements of Christ. BUT Christ says you must DO ALL that He requires or you can not be His disciple. That is the reason they make christians and not disciples of Christ, they (false christs) make disciples of their god, making their followers disciples of satan as are they.

That is why they have side shows of signs and wonders, appeal to your flesh, use emotional turmoil to make you THINK you are experiencing a move of the Holy Spirit. They have a false holy spirit they introduce you to and this is why you must test ALL THINGS TO SEE IF THEY BE OF GOD. THE CHURCH SYSTEM AND CLERGY ARE CLEARLY NOT OF GOD.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED MY BELOVED BRETHREN.

There is ONE thing that is the key to EVERYTHING to do with Christ and if you miss this key you have NOTHING. Remember Jesus Christ has ALL AUTHORITY on heaven and earth for this age and HE is the ONLY one that can write names in the Lambs Book of Life. This key is the ONE and ONLY thing that can make you of one Spirit with God, Christ and all the other sons of God. Scripture is clear all sons of God must be of One Spirit with God and in total agreement in ALL THINGS.. The Key is you must be filled with (baptized in) AND controlled by the Holy Spirit of God which is one of the requirements of becoming a disciple of Christ. This is the only way you can be a disciple of Christ, by doing ALL He Requires of His disciples. “ teaching them to observe all things that I have taught you.”, NOT SOME OF BUT ALL. Do not be deceived
