Planets and Accidents Connection

Does the position of Planets have anything to do with accidents?

Yes, that’s what Astrologers think. Everything that happens in the life of an individual is influenced by Planets. Most Astrologers associate Planet Mars and Saturn with Accidents. The positioning of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto is also said to be vital when it comes to accidents. If you are suffering from frequent accidents and injuries, then most probably any of the below given conditions should hold true and it can be averted by wearing a red coral or Pearl as recommended by Gem Therapy.

Planetary Combinations and Conditions causing Accidents

Given below are certain Planet combinations and conditions in Horoscope that can cause Accidents.

  • Rahu and Mars in ascendant or second house
  • Saturn on Ascendant
  • Mars on Ascendant
  • Mars or Saturn in the third house
  • Mars or Saturn in 5th house

As a beginner in the field of Astrology, that's all I could think of before having a chance to look into some of the in depth reference books on Medical Astrology. I was amazed to see that there is more to accidents. The Astrology of Accident is such a wide subject that one can go on studying for years together and still not master completely.

Several books have been published by expert Astrologers on this subject. Some books I would recommend for reading are ‘Encyclopedia of Psychological Astrology’ and ‘The Astrology of Accidents’ by Charles E O Carter and 'Wheel of Life or Scientific Astrology’ by Maurice Wemyss where an in depth study is done on this subject.

However, on second thoughts, I also tend to think that accidents are accidents ‘an unexpected event or incident’. Should we be worrying too much about that and fail to live a happy life today?
