Proverbs about Speaking
A while ago I categorized the entire Book of Proverbs from the Bible/Word of God. Here is one category of Proverbs that is about speaking, communication. There is so much Wisdom and depth in these. And life and death are in the power of the tongue/words/speaking (Proverbs 18), so this of utmost importance. Grace and Peace.
Proverbs 10:19,
“When words are many, transgression/sin is not lacking,
but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.”
Proverbs 13:3,
“Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.”
Proverbs 15:1,
“A soft/gentle/healing answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
Proverbs 15:2,
“The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but the mouths of fools pour out folly.”

“To make an apt answer is a joy to a man,
and a word in season, how good it is!”
